The Christmas/Xmas/Hannukah/Saturnalia/BUY OUR STUFF Season

I just got home from work. And I have a mother fucker of a hangover.
Going into bath tomorrow to finish my Christmas shopping and hopefully get akfc. Apparently, kfc is Christmas tradition in Japan.

That's a really depressing Christmas tradition.

KFC, and Pizza Hut oddly enough are big over there. I still remember being a bit confused as to why there was so much Pizza Hut product placement in Code Geass. I didn't know it was a thing outside of here and the States, but suddenly the characters were eating Pizza Hut pizza.

Not to mention the green-haired girl clinging onto their Japanese mascot. Really annoyed me when I found out.

Kfc is the bomb! And also, I guess Christmas isn't as big over there as it is here? Isn't it summer in Japan? I wouldn't want a big turkey dinner in summer.

That's a hemisphere thing, Busk. Australia, SA etc.  Japan is cold in December too.

Wait, is Japan not in the Southern hemisphere?

Anyway, I had a kfc, as planned. It was ace. I also finally finished all my Christmas shopping and got myself a little treat as a reward.
Gonna go do my wrapping up in a minute.

My presents for the family are underneath the tree, with the sellotape coming off already.  The broken fairy lights are on.  My parents are about to head off to church, while I do some studying.

It's beginning to look just like an ice world Christmas.

Happy holidays! As usual, it's not even four yet and it feels like bed time. Their to a combination of wine, to much food, not being able to sleep from excitement and waking up at five am to open stocking presents with my brother and sister.

Is there any point in taking the Christmas decorations down, really? After all, they'll only have to go up again next year.

Well if they're in a high place, like on a tree, then it'd be safer to open the windows and let the wind take them down. That or beans.
