| Haven't seen Frame Arms, but I can totally relate to the plamo addiction problem! That Liger Zero and Unicorn Gundam rg are making me pretty jelly, alas I can't afford to buy more kits before the move in a few months.
Haven't seen the new live action Death Note but the anime was great fun in a popcorn way. |

I've yet to build the Unicorn but the Liger Zero was a fun build, I'm not sure if it's really worth the price but I've always been a big fan of Zoids so it didn't bother me too much |

| Without wishing to sound like a jerk, you could always check out the Cowboy Bebop film, if you haven't already, natch. Failing that, the only anime series I've ever bought is Bubblegum Crisis 2040, which is actually good fun. |

| Samurai Champaloo is one I definitely meant to check out - think I spotted it on Netflix, actually. It's been on my radar as I'm really dig Nujabes and found out that Nujabes did the soundtrack for Samurai Champaloo. It's so freaking chill. |

| Ooh, I've a fair bit to contribute here!
So, I rocketed through Season 1 and 2 of Attack on Titan and decided to launch myself at the manga right after. Is anybody else here up to date on the manga? I'd love to theorise and chat about that series.
I'm still watching Dragon Ball Super week on week - it's a nice comforting feeling waking up on a Sunday morning and watching the new episode of DBS in bed. It's like being a kid again.
And I'm also working my way through JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. I've just finished the first part - I love how over the top this seems to be. It almost borders on parody at points, but it's a cracker. The soundtrack is incredible, too. |

| I just read issue 99. It's all coming to a head!
I've not actually watched season 2, though. I will try to sooner rather than later. |

| Yes Drunka! Had no clue you were that into AoT. Right... - Chapter 99:
I reckon that guy who ambushed Pieck and Porco and tricked them with the trapdoor is one of the gang - possibly Armin or Connie judging by the fair hair. I'm more leaning towards Connie as I reckon Armin is poised somewhere for some Colossal Titan antics
I love that the Titan Shifters in Marley have all been indisposed - it's all definitely kicking off next chapter. I reckon that Tybur lad giving the speech is a shifter. Did they not mention a Warhammer Titan or something? Hobo Eren is really chilling - I almost feel bad for Reiner after spending a few chapters with him and the rest of the Marley crew.
It's amazing how they've managed to shift what was this black and white monster vs man series into this intense political drama with flesh Gundam.

| The weird thing is I've got no issue playing games in Japanese with subs but when it comes to films or anything I find myself just reading the text and not watching what's going on. |

| I do know what you mean; even when something is in English, if there are subtitles I find myself looking at them. I just tend to hate the dub voices. |

| I've not found any bad till now with Samurai Champloo as Mugen is voiced by the same guy as Spike and he's just doing the same voice. So it's not bad in terms of bad voice work but seems a bit lazy. |

| People spider-manning around with swords and fighting giant monsters? Why didn't you assume this was my jam, Jay? - Spoiler:
I love the change as well. I was really into it back when it was just a post-apocalyptic survival thing, but the twist makes so much sense and has allowed the story to move on without becoming stale. I'm also pretty chuffed to say I saw it coming a respectable distance away.
What I love about the story at the moment is I really don't know who the "good guy" is, or where anything is gonna go next. I remember reading way back that the author planned for it to end at issue 100, but I don't see that happening now.

| Well, I figured you'd be into it but I didn't realise you'd be so into it that you'd be caught up with the manga! - Spoiler:
I was pretty certain about the existence of a civilisation outside of the walls, but not to the extent of how it actually is. It's a living, breathing world out there rather than just pockets of human life like I'd envisaged. I'd be calling you Nostradamus if you'd managed to predict the whole Nazi internment camp situation and the depth of the political drama unfolding beyond the walls. I read somewhere that the whole Marley/Eldian situation is a commentary of sorts on how the Japanese were treated after World War II. I'm not clued up at all about life in Japan after WWII so I've no idea if that's true or not.
Yeah, no chance it ends in Chapter 100. There's still too many things to be explained - I think we're nearing the end, but I think we've at least one or two more arcs to go.

| Is it strange that I'm kind of over Attack on Titan?
I mean don't get me wrong if I sat down and actually rewatched season 1 again I'm sure I'd get back on the train, but the passion's faded and I've not really had the motivation to reignite it. Plus I've had a few things spoiled by now so that doesn't exactly help. Spoilers are of the devil. |

I actually am fairly clued up on post-WWII Japan. I can see it a little. Though they weren't treated anywhere near as harshly they did go on a bit of a war bender and were disliked for a while there.

| It's on my 'get back into' list, but it's pretty far down. I didn't like grim grim stuff when I was first watching it. Now, even less. Still, the Titans are appropriately hideous, and I probably ought to watch/read up to the bit that I spoiled myself on at least. |

| If you've been spoiled on the part that everyone is spoiled on, then Season Two covers up to and beyond that point. What worked neatly for me was that Crunchyroll has a manga app carrying the AoT manga and I was able to pick up the manga from the point that Season Two left off at. Although, I don't think it'll work as neatly for anyone now as the older issues of the manga are been dropped after a certain period of time on that app. Meanwhile, for Drunka's eyes, some really cool Chapter 99 fanart: - Spoiler:
