I may have a date because of a joke,

The Uni kids are back at the moment and I was having lunch with the bakery guys when LG was like Mas ask DA how his sister is, so when DA when past I said to him hows your sister is she free Wednesday night.

We all have a good chuckle but later that night she was in shopping, I never saw her but LG and RedAnt did and I said to them you should have introduced me by going have you met mas. Anyway LG texted her along with RedAnt and they have seemingly may have got me a date, I thought they were joking but when we going home, LG gave DA his phone told him to read this, then the next minute DA was going to me you better take my sister somewhere nice or else mas.

They've also told the rest of bakery, cleaners and more about this, that it's not going to well even I do get a date out of this as everyone will be asking how did it go etc

Well could ants somewhere in the yard, I do carry a phone and a former colleague did a law degree.

Nothing more was said on all that but I may have got myself a date (a different girl to above) but when is the question as she's busy this weekend and working next and the one after I'm working.

I can see this being a problem already, I don't know if the rest of you had this but to work etc actually dating is a right pain.

My girlfriend and I both work a lot of awkward shifts, so we pretty much just see each other at weekends, and even then it might just be Friday and Saturday evenings, or Sunday. We make the most of it, and it's early days yet. Still, moving closer to her is another good incentive to get the hell out of Wurzel country.

Yeah. I think it is probably over, for reasons that aren't anyone's fault, and I feel pretty shitty.

I saw this. My overwhelming urge is usually to post a joke - on the basis that everyone else will be giving sympathy, and if I make them laugh, all well and good.

It's a combination of the kind of relationship I have with you guys and the fact that here I can say something once and be done with it. When I'm already feeling crap and trying to get my own head around something, having every one of my friends and family messaging me and making me go over it doesn't actually help.

Bad times and I was hoping to have a day off work for the wedding.
