Get hyped people!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsf78BS9VE0

Seems Scarecrow is going to be the primary villain in this one. Biggest news has to be the fully driveable Batmobile though - will it be free-roaming or just in scripted sequences?

Tight. The batmobile was the main thing missing from the last two (apart from better integration of Robin et al).

I wonder how it's going to work. The maps in the previous two games didn't seem to lend themselves to vehicular travel. There was a lot of clutter on the streets and I wonder if removing that clutter to allow for trundling along in the Batmobile will make the streets look too barren.

The city is pretty ruined in City to be fair so there is no way you'd be able to get around by car. As long as they have a good mix of ruined areas and stuff on the driveable streets it'll be sweet.

My sources suggest that it's another big game not destined to arrive on the Wii U. Crying or Very sad

Looks great, I'm pleased it's by rocksteady again. Looks a bit like prequel again.

About Wii U version, the trailer and listings are for PS4, Xbox One and PC. I think if this miss PS360, I think that will the point next gen be comes current gen imo when a huge title like this isn't on PS360.

Added stuff, so it is a sequel and the end of the arkham series even thought the trailer seems a bit prequelly but the end of batman. And it's not coming to current gen / being cross gen as you have the rein the game back. More info here form CVG.

I didn't think it was prequely at all. First and foremost the lack of Joker, despite Harley's presence! To me it was definitely coming across as a finale.

This looks really good, but I won't be getting a Ps4/XBone until they are much more affordable, so I'll probably miss out. I am a little surprised though: the end of City seemed like Rocksteady blew their load from a story ending perspective...
Spoiler:

Will look on with envious eyes though!

They've got most of the voice cast back though now haven't they? That's the impression I got from the CVG article.

Aye, seem they have actually: I thought they'd given up on the Batman guy, but maybe it was just for Origins. And I suppose there's no real need for Mark Hamil now...

Troy Baker did a great job in Origins too.

First off I will say I do like batman but I'm firmly in the "NOT excited" mode, my biggest fear being that it again will be too similar to the previous games I hope they aren't going to just fob us off with a drivable batmobile & leave it at that.

It's early days though, I'll just have to wait & see actual gameplay first before I'm bothered about it.

I'm betting Rocksteady have been working on it for a while, and I trust them to put out a quality product.

Jay has a point: some other guys did Origins (memorable!), so Rocksteady have had a bit of time to polish Knight up.

An album of pictures to peruse.

Wonder what that futuristic Batsuit is all about?

I've been told similar things on twitter & even though it wasn't the entire team I had trusted the folks who lead arkham Origins (a few worked on prototype & Hulk) anyhow I do hope it turns out really good I just can't get excited for it yet.

Shots fired: the Rocksteady boys are calling this the last part of the trilogy.

Hahahaha, that's brilliant. An attempt at distancing their games from Origins?

A trailer, anyone?

I'm excited - looks like a great plot for the game, and it looks gorgeous too, presuming that some of that was in-engine stuff.

Ridiculously excited for this game. Might have to have another run through City before it (probably my 6th by now).

A little bit more excited than before but I still have my fears about how they can make better/different from Arkham City.

I trust Rocksteady - they've had long enough to work on this game that I'm confident it'll be a great game. It doesn't have to be better than Arkham City. It just has to be good.

I don't think anyone could've predicted the ridiculous improvements City made to Asylum, but it's so much better it's practically impossible to go back.

I prefer Asylum, but honestly that's totally subjective - they're both fantastic games in their own right.

Oh, and apparently Scarecrow is voiced by John "Denethor, Steward of Gondor" Noble, which is cool.
