| Agreed with your closing statement. There's a lot to enjoy here, and most of the story setpieces are memorable and a blast to play.
I was hoping to write up something for Gintendo for this too, so maybe once Drunka's rattled through this (saw he bought it in another thread), we could all do a Skype text chat roundtable review? We can pull in Mas and anyone else who's finished this and willing to write a little bit about the game too. |

| I'd be well up for a Batcast. Would give me even more reason to replay! |

| So it's not just me that felt a little underwhelmed towards the end, as much as I enjoyed using the Batmobile using that to replace some potentially huge moments really took away from some of the villains, at times it felt like they were sacrificing some great gameplay and interesting boss battles for a bit too much story telling. |

| Absolutely. I rocketed through this again on NG+ to get the platinum trophy, and there isn't really a properly memorable boss fight in the game. - Bosses:
Two-Face? I dropped a chandelier on him whilst I was up in the rafters. Penguin? You beat up his goons about half a dozen times. The Arkham Knight? Tank battles galore. Scarecrow? Nope, unless you count those challenge maps (you shouldn't). The best fight in the game is probably Riddler, and even that isn't particularly inventive.
As you said Smurf, there seems to be a lot sacrificed here in the name of storytelling, as this is meant to be the grand conclusion to the Arkham series. But it's not a movie and I actually think they harmed their "epic final chapter" by forgetting at times that it's a game. Don't get me wrong, it's still a great game. I reckon it's the worst of Rocksteady's Arkham games though. |

| I'm not sure there are many good Arkham boss fights in general. Aside from Freeze (although he's not that great any time after the first) I can't think of any outstandingly good ones. Correct me if I'm wrong but almost all of the bosses in Asylum boil down to boring titan fights, aside from that Croc and Ivy aren't exactly good.
For City I can only think of Ra's, Clayface and Grundy which are fine, but boil down to spam gadget then punch. |

| Maybe it was because Origins was freshest in my mind going into this, and it had a surprising amount of fun boss fights. There was Firefly, the phenomenal Deathstroke fight, hell, even the last encounter with Bane was better than anything in Arkham Knight. I think I'm going to look more fondly on Origins as time goes on. |

| Started this last night, after a ludicrous install followed by a ludicrous update (maaaaate). Haven't played much yet but fuck me what I've played is good. That combat, still quality. That city, still fun to traverse. The graphics, gorgeous. And all of it dripping with Batmany goodness from every pore. And as for the batmobile stuff. . . It's great fun!
Will definitely be up for a bat-cast, plus I think me and muss might be putting together a video. |

| Oh, I loved the Batmobile stuff too at first. It's great in small doses, but I'll be interested to see if Batmobile fatigue sets in for you too. |

| I thought we were doing a Skype chat a bit like Admintendo that would then go on Gintendo as a sort of review article. |

| Think there were 2 ideas going around at once, I'd be up for either, though I think Podcasts are slightly more fun both to do and listen personally so that wins out for me. |

| The only thing is if we do a Batcast that's a lot of people on at once.

| I think there are, what 5 of us? Jay, Andy, Mas, me and pisshead, and I'll probably record on the same Skype channel as him so that's only 4 audio channels which should be fine as long as we don't interrupt each other. I'd personally prefer a podcast too That said, I'm probably not going to deal with the audio so |

| There's also Smurf, 6 on Audio just seems a lot to me with interruptions surely only going to happen. |

| Oh I knew I'd forget someone.
6 is quite a lot either way to be honest, but if someone was willing to moderate/act as host then that'd ameliorate interruptions. |

| I think scheduling is the biggest issue likely to occur with so many. I don't think it's impossible, might be a challenge, but that might just be hilarious. |

| If we are going to schedule this, I'll say the likely obvious thing for most people. A weekend would work best for me. |
