100% and got the true ending (not done hard mode though), now I'm playing the DLC challenge levels which I got with gold points!

That's a belting offer for two fine games, at least if you've not played either.

I've worked myself into a corner with this: I stopped playing after I'd just got to a really bloody hard bit (it's one of the later-game McGuffin challenges), so when I start it up again I'll be thrown straight into a bit that's like Celeste without the really satisfying platforming or the encouragement. In short, I've risked putting myself off it.

You can get the regular ending at least without doing any of the tough platforming parts?

I might buy that physical collection even though I have played both games... I think I can justify it by not having the first game on Switch?

The very first screen of the crucible was the worst. Trying to hover in the wind jet is /very/ temperamental!

That's the attitude that someone who wouldn't have a chronic problem with Achievements might have, a.k.a. a Quitter.

I always like to get the regular ending first, otherwise you "miss" it by going straight for the true ending.

I know above I said I'd get the physical collection but they now have a bundle on the eShop for the second game and the two dlc's for £13.57 until the 28th.

So much Guac 2 chat and I've just coincidentally gone back to it! I don't know why I ended up drifting away from it, it's hecka fun. Just reached the Obsidian Temple.

The One-Two Punch set would be tempting, but I just can't justify it when I've got them both, albeit the first one on Wii U. I never did get the best ending, though...

Yep, I crumbled and bought the bundle but with Sekiro likely arriving tomorrow it'll be months before I play it.

Well, it was only a month after all (Sekiro NG+ still calls to me though) as I am now a good few hours into Guacamelee 2 and it's top stuff so far.

It's always good to try new games! That'll be why I haven't got back to this...
