| Sayonara Umihara Kawase on my Japanese 3DS. It's good.
Hopefully it'll get a western release soon. |

| The four new StreetPass games in the combo pack. They'd better be worth it! |

| Today I bought Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars for the 3DS for a whopping 2$ new. Dick Smiths had it on clearance and I remember Spork making a topic about it back on Ngamer so I decided to take a punt on it. I've no idea if I'll ever play it or not, but at a mere 2$ I figured I have nothing to lose. I also just bought this. I'm completely addicted to everything about this right now and I follow the composer and absolutely love what he did for the show, so I had to get a preorder in. |

| I recently played Shadow Wars for a review on my little site and whilst it is no Advance Wars, it is really good. It is the only game with the words 'Tom Clancy" in the title I didn't hate. Great bargain at $2. I wish they would make more of these type of Turn-Based games from within the shooting genre universe. Imagine a TBS Gears of War, Halo, Metroid, Bioshock and many others on the 3DS - they would likely be awesome. |

The RTS "Halo Wars" on 360 wasn't too shabby. Alright, it paled next to the Age Of Empires games it was based on, but taken on its own merits it was well worth the £20 I paid for it. |

| Halo Wars is THE ONLY Halo game I have ever enjoyed. Theonly reason for that is that I love strategy games and at least Halo was interesting enough to build a RTS around it. The Star Wars game based around AoE was even better (forgotten the name). |

| I'd absolutely love to have a Metroid strategy game, this makes me want to break out ghost recon & finish off the skirmish missions. |

| Strategy games are ideal for the 3DS and if done well, on the Wii U (because of the Gamepad). Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings was excellent on the DS and shows that any game can work as a strategy game, RTS or TBS. Next to JRPG, it is easily my favourite genre. Even better when they merge the genres, with SRPGs. I would buy any of the major franchises done this way. |

| I can't imagine a Metroid strategy game working. It's a solitary series about Samus against the world, not a gang of dudes taking millions of enemies down. |

| I also bought yesterday the first two volumes of the Attack On Titan manga. Judging by the synopsis they will take me to about episode seven or eight in events, and volumes three and four will cover the second half of the Battle For Trost arc. I'll have to wait for the anime season to finish before I read further alas as I want to avoid spoiling it. |

| You know what would also be ace instead of a Metroid strategy game? Another effing Advance Wars. Although Fire Emblem has more than sufficed. |

Don't worry, that wouldn't be why we thought you were a boring git. |

| Went to GAME's sale and picked up Batman: The Brave and the Bold on Wii, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrows on DS, Metroid Pinball on DS and the strategy guide for ZombiU for a total of £19.
Also bought gig tickets for Larry And His Flask in Glasgow in August, a couple of CDs from last night's Tim Barry gig in Glasgow and a silly amount of lager. |

Crackdown 2 (360) - Never played the original, so I just thought that I would give it a try Crush 3D (3DS) F1 Grand Prix (PSP) Heroes of Ruin (3DS) Midway Arcade Treasures: Extended Play (PSP) Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (3DS) - I'm new to the series, so it should be interesting for me Moon (DS) Namco Museum: Battle Collection (PSP) Puyo Pop Fever (PSP) Tenchu: Dark Secret (DS) Zoo Keeper (DS) |

Good choice! It's a solid example of WayForward making a simple, fun game. The humour is spot-on, too. |

Me too - unbelievable luck that I got three games I was looking to buy in the one sale. Keeping looking for it, by the way. I got it in GAME for £4. |
