| I bought the remastered edition of Rubber Soul by The Beatles. I think the Beatles' remsaters are ludicrously priced when compared to the superior Ramones Rhino remasters, but I suppose that's the price of massive popularity. |

| Seeing as we're all at it today, here's my gaming purchases from the last week: Under a tenner for the lot, thanks to being gifted them/charity shop bargains. The GameCube game is a US-only Intellevision collection that seemed too cheap at four quid to pass up. It isn't very good. |

Yep. I've already got the first one on GameCube, but the Retro Gamer forumite who agreed to send me VJ2 kindly chucked the prequel in too. VJ is a bastard, but I enjoy it. I bought the sequel for dirt-cheap on GC and, despite thinking it was brilliant, I regrettably traded it in for even less to help pay for the Wii. Happy I've got a version of it again! |

Any way I bought a 16gb VITA memory card for £22.50. |

| It's been an ordeal that's involved an unsuccessful order, two separate bank account charges instead of one, fifty minutes of '9p-a-minute' call centre calls, an 'unprovisioned' sim card, a damaged camera lens and - unbelievably - the eventual delivery of a phone that couldn't turn on, but I finally got my new (second) Xperia Z1 Compact through the post, some twelve days after originally ordering it.
'Free next day delivery', my arse.
It's just been one thing after the other, but at least the price of the phone actually fell during those twelve days, and that I found out the first phone was broken before the warranty was up. Little victories and all that...

| I've just had O2 on the phone telling me I can have a new phone from next Monday and I could place my order now. I told them I'm waiting to see if something I like comes out, they couldn't seem to grasp I don't want anything that's out at the moment. They just went on my phones old and I can have blahh blahh and wouldn't shut up. |

I never made it past the stupid, cheap-arse boss rush bit. Might give it a go again one day, though; I'd say my gaming skills have improved marginally over the years. |

| MORE GAMES.Although they were cheap, to be fair. Made of with Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles, Guitar Hero Metallica, Guitar Hero Van Halen, Eledees and de Blob for under a fiver combined, thanks to some good old Cash Generator mispricing. I've got 112 Wii games in my collection, but at least forty of those must have cost me less than a quid each. |

| In equally exciting news, I bought a coat!!! The second of two, after the first one was returned with prejudice. Perfectly good coat, ruined with leather bits and pieces.
That Samus figure is damn shiny. How posable is it? The shots make it seem like pretty much every joint is... well, jointed. |

| That Samus figure is gorgeous. I'll leave it to you to decide if I mean that in the way I normally say it about action figures or if I mean it in the way I normally say it about the chicas. |

| Sonic Generations, on 360. I know it got mixed reviews, but for £10 it's probably worth a punt. |

| Not so much a purchase so much as an arrival of two, two more volumes of ultimate spider-man and the Psycho-Pass original soundtrack. |

I'd say it's truly one of the great Sonic games, unquestionably the best the series has been in 3D, and the absolute best game on the 360. So for a tenner, not too shabby. ~ Banjo, Tomb Raider and Advance Wars were all freebies ('random niceness') from forumites on Retro Gamer, and Cooking Guide was bought yesterday, before recalling that I've already got it. Ah well. Quite looking forward to playing the two console games. Legend was one of the last GameCube games that I was genuinely after, and Banjo was something that I've been looking for at a reasonable price for a good few years. I know it has a dodgy reputation, but I was such a fan of the older games, and feel it warrants a shot. |

It's a great game, not sure if I can agree best 3D sonic maybe since the dreamcast or is it the best game to be played on a 360 which has likes of bioshock, infinite, mass effect, tomb raider to name a few but best platformer on 360 more then likely. |

| Best game's on the 7the gen there in mass effect's Buska, why didn't you wait till the S5 is out though or did you get the S4 cheap. I got this lot for £25 of a mate at work still not if it's cheap or expensive. |
