Looks to be in fairly good nick, too. I wish my Master System came with its original packaging.  

It has all the bags and booklets and original bill of £49.99 from dixions.

That packaging really made the Master System look like the Tesco Value games Consoles.

Yep the packaging was muh Action Fighter for instance was a launch title in 1986, I can understand the cheap looking packing in 1991 when the mega drive would also be out to differentiate the systems but not back in 86.

But didn't seem to bother us Europeans where the master system sold like hotcakes.

Yeah, that's the thing, it didn't bother me back in the day. It just looks super weird now.

I'd be interesting to look at the packaging for other products- games or not- of the same era. If they're as tacky as the Master System games, then they probably looked fancy for the time.

These sexy Wellington boots. Which I then wore at work for a day for charity. I can't decide if everyone wearing wellies was insensitive or not, but we raised loads of money so basically, who gives a monkey's?

A tenner from an Amazon seller in Japan, though not in the brand-new condition as described, and absolutely reeking of fags. Bah.

Also got a Nintendo Points card ahead of Ace Attorney going on sale, and the entire Chewin' The Fat boxset for just five quid - impressive seeing as I've seen it sell online for almost a hundred and that three of the four the DVDs are still sealed.

I saw on twitter local my GAME was doing a rayman legends competition, so thought I'll pop in see if they've got Ys &/or Sorcery Saga on VITA with neither being in stock but I do have Ys preordered in the GAME I shop in.

Anyway the competition was to beat the Ubisoft Rep at Rayman Legends Football on PS3, I asked why no Wii U version he wasn't given any by Ubi but has it on every other system including next gen. We were using PS3 as he had more then one controller for it not the others.

I played the game and beat him 10-5, So I won a promo game for a box of mystery which was child of eden on 360 (all games were 360) which I couldn't trade in there and then as it was a promo copy.

So went to CEX whom had a load of GameCube games in with likes of 007, Medal of Honor, Prince of Persia all around £2 but then I saw what I bought today

Starfox Adventures and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, after trading in child of eden for a whopping £1.80. I got these two classic GameCube games for £12.20.

I don't know if I'd call Starfox Adventures classic...

OK, so i've just been on a five hour round trip to pick up my bartop MAME cab that i commissioned two years ago! Been expensive but its completely bespoke and i'm chuffed to bits with it. Just need to get side art/marquee sorted now and i'll be in retro nirvana

well, if i include everything approx £500. Parts/materials/PC alone cost £300 (All genuine SANWA arcade parts...not cheap imitation stuff on this puppy   )
