| At work the other day a woman asked me "do you take English pounds?". September 18th hasn't come yet, ma'am... |

| A couple, yes. Starting point: go for music lessons. Really, really go for music lessons. It's incredibly difficult to self-teach, especially at the start, and will give you something to aim towards each week and an incentive to improve. |

| I did a little bit of piano, but stubby fingers and dyspraxia hindered any progress I could make there. |

| I was going to get a mate to help and self taught over the net.
As money for lessons and fitting it in but could do on my days off like today. |

| I used to have lessons after getting home from school. Don't know if you can take one early evening a week. Your friend might be able to start you off, but I imagine it would be much easier to progress with lessons. |

| Small world isn't it as I've been on google and someone I know teaches guitar & specialises in bass guitar as a living.
So likely I would go to him and not a complete stranger. |

| I used to be able to play guitar in primary school but if I picked one up now I would have no idea what I would be doing, same with drums to an extent |

| Back from my holiday, tonypanging it up like some kind of arsehole. On a side-note, my laptop's touchpad isn't working anymore. The current solution is to plug in an old mouse but that's not going to be practical forever! |

| So yeah had a bit of a shit day with me leaving work this morning after a 10 hour night shift to find that my car had been broken into.. The only smashed one window which was lucky in a way, and then just yeah ransacked it going through the glove box and taking my iPod and my spare change and my sunglasses. And so then went and called the cops and made a statement and they advised that a few other cars had been hit in town and that they did catch a suspect but they had only started interrogating him.
So now I have to put up with the window being out until Monday (if I'm lucky) or Tuesday at the latest and being out of pocket $240.
Even had the Forensics turn up as there was a wrench left near the Tyre of my car so they came up and took photos of that and my window..

| Yeah it did suck somewhat when it clicked as to what had happened (and the fact I was deadly tired didn't help). And today I was really missing my sunglasses on my drive home from work, I had the sun in my face for most of the trip and since it had been raining a bit the road was rather shiny |

| Sorry mate, nobody gave a shit.
Tried kettlecise tonight, my auntie does a class. Highly recommended. When I get back to wells I think I'm gonna have to try and find one local to me, it really worked every single muscle in my body. I always fibd doing something with people, like a sport or a class, works me out better than just jogging or hitting the gym alone. It's too easy to just stop every five minutes or quit early when I'm alone. |

| Eurgh, exercise. Working at a health insurer means that my colleagues talk about it all the sodding time.
Anyway, I'm off for a bit. Going on holiday with the family to various parts of East Asia. It'll be fun! But I don't know how much Internet access I'll have. |
