| Oh yes, it contained a lot of good stuff and will be tough to beat, but I think that says more about the quality of conferences nowadays than MS' brilliance. You mention the two big 'uns from that show for me, one of which is a 2D platformer, and we already knew about Overdrive. Not really away-blowing in my mind. |

| See I own a ONE and wasn't that impressed. I was impressed enough to keep mine but if I didn't I wouldn't go buy one after that in till Halo 5 next year. |

| Oh, and during the MS conference, NoA Tweeted we'd see some of Miyamoto's new projectS tomorrow. Yes, plural.

(They also uploaded a load of indie trailers, but I won't link to them, in case they're part of tomorrow's event.) |

And it's sucked the hype out of me for Nintendo's one, reminding me that we don't get stellar conferences filled with new announcements nowadays. Instead, I'm expecting lots of stuff on existing titles, a handful of new Smash characters, and a new Art Academy game. That way I should be pleasantly surprised, right?
(Still, if there's no Zelda I may have to kill a man.) I take it my jaded view of e3 is starting to spread? And a handful smash characters? Surely they'll only announce one, two at the most. I'm just praying they don't announce something like pac man. |

| Ubisoft is just starting.
How well was my info on MS before hand: 3rd Party Yep, COD:AW, AC:U etc Indie, Yep Sizzle and that Ori and the Blind Forest Sunset Overdrive, Yep D4, Nope Fable Legends, Yep Gears of War 4, Nope Halo 5, Yep Quantum Break, Nope Forza Horizon 2, Yep Halo 2 HD, Yep in the collection New IP, Nope unless we count sunset overdrive or platinum’s game Ryse 2, nope Epic Games Game based on Samaritan tech demo, nope Lionhead with a new title based around a post apocalyptic Earth, nope Games for Gold for One will be a thing and you will get two games month 1 retail & 1 download starting after E3, Yep before E3 even Retail units will final be able to be used a dev units, Talked about in the after show thing And more info on new IP's etc from studios no one has ever heard off, Nope And the Jap exclusive does look like it's coming from platinum, Big Yep
Rabbids with Pizza to start us of, telling us to get ready for there E3 show.
Properly go, starting with Far Cry 4 villain seems a bit nuts. Never played 3 did play the OG Xbox one & 2 did like them that much apart from MP with create a map.
Aisha Tyler is hosting again, also Ubi like to swear a lot.
Just Dance 2015 trailer with smartphone app called just dance now which works with something like a Smart TV and lot's of dancing.
The Division is being shown again after seeing at MS but this time with a trailer about the back story.
The Crew, this has a similar premiss of Forza Horizon 2. But sounds bigger with USA coast to coast trip's with 2 hour driving missions for instance.
Assassins Creed: Unity, also these last three games are all current gen only surprised there taking the risk and missing out on the 160m+ PS360 systems out there. The trailer looks good, also I notice the four assassins are all male wonder if this will get any stick for having no females like how Mario Kart 8 has no black characters.
Single Player Game Play now.
Shape Up some fitness game for gamers, being shown with guitar hero x just dance x zumba (I guess) with eye of the tiger music mini game. Now there playing a versus game of push ups being France v USA . The Yank won.
Valiant Heart the Ubiart WW1 Puzzle game, can't wait for this due to Rayman legends & Child of Light that used the engine.
One more thing from Ubi which the president has announced which is a shooter but not sure what it is, it looks like rainbow six maybe.
It is Rainbow Six Siege |

Sunset Overdrive, New Kamiya game, that lovely Owl platformer....
I also liked the Nintendo acknowledgement at the start. Sony has to do a lot to beat that IMO. Pretty much agree with you there on every point. This morning, if you'd asked me what console I was planning to buy next, I'd have said PS4. Now I'm not so sure. All the games I like the look of on PlayStation at the moment are also coming to Xbox, while Xbox had an exclusive platinum game, that hilarious looking dead rising game, sunset overdrive and halo. I haven't properly played halo before but always been somewhat intrigued, and now they're bringing out the four main games on one box. Ideal. EA was pretty dull for the most part. Star Wars and Mass Effect I'm obviously super excited about but they didn't really show much. Ubisoft was okay, nothing I was too fused about until rainbow six. Don't know what it was about it, but I really liked the look of it. I think it was just the physicality. All the best action movies really make the location party of the action; think of the first Die Hard, where Nakatomi plaza was basically a character in its own right, or the lobby fight in the matrix, or Spider-Man 2's train sequence. Quality. Downing some relentless now to make sure I'm awake for Sony. See if they can convince me not to but an Xbox one later this year. |

| Combo Sony will be kicking of in 10 minutes
On the Pre-show, killzone co-op, Ultimate Tetris for Vita,
And we are go
We are starting with Destiny which is from Activision whom also kicked of MS with COD:AW. Some guy from Game of Thrones is the voice over of the trailer. Looking good from Bungie.
Andrew House is out talking, Destiny on PlayStation first and the ALPHA will go live this Thursday till the end of the weekend on PS4 then BETA on July 17th for PlayStation.
White Destiny PS4 console.
New IP, It's the Order 1886 muh we know about this all ready.
A colorful game up next which rather indie called entwined looks nice, which is out now on PS4 and will have cross-buy for PS3 & VITA coming soon.
Stand alone Infamous Second Son DLC, looks like were going to play as Fetch.
LittleBigPlanet 3, sackboy has new friend oddsock (a sock dog thing) and swoop a bird also some fat sackboy thing.
Yoshida now on stage, explaining you can play LBP1 & 2 levels on LBP3 which is out Christmas.
Project BEAST, looks rather gruesome it looks like it will be called Bloodborne coming 2015.
Some Far Cry 4 gameplay, just been announced that you can play co-op with only need one game and can invite others to play from your friends list and they don't need the game only on PlayStation this feature.
Dead Island 2, some exclusive PS4 content
Last of Us level in Diablo III
Battlefield Hardline, trailer
Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel collectors edition with Hulk
Now talking about the exclusive Destiny stuff for PlayStation
Some sort of new IP from Paradox whom I think he said has 4 PS4 games in the works, okay it's not a new IP. It's Magicka 2, what ever that is.
Grim Fandango remastered for PS4 & VITA.
Indie sizzle real which all the games will be on PlayStation first including The Witness
Giant Squid games which has some connection with journey showing ABZU
SUDA 51 game, for the VITA let it die (yes it's called that)
No Man's Sky first on PS4, the concept sounds really good for this.
House back out talking about the PS4 hardware, the camera with a slight jib at MS and Morpheus is at there booth.
Talking about PSN, numbers & YouTube uploads etc. Interactive streaming will be coming and some F2P games.
PSNOW, Open Beta in July for NA for PS4 and sometime later for PS3 & VITA, TVs.
On about the VITA which 100 games in development which is a bit of lie as one was Child of Light but now on VITA is cool.
PlayStation TV AKA Vita TV which is rather useful, so you can have a PS4 in two rooms.
MORTAL KOMBAT X (EX not 10) gameplay with some new fighters.
TV Shows including stuff for PlayStation like Powers which is based on a graphic novel.
Trailer for the Ratchet & Clank movie and announced the first game coming to PS4.
Trailer for The Last of Us remastered coming July 29th.
METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN
GTAV PS4 Edition with character cross over from both PS3 or 360 online
Batman Arkham Knight up now, exclusive content.
Uncharted 4 A Thieves End
A sizzle real and that's it. |

Yes, I know. In the light of day, they did look like two pretty solid conferences. Part of it's probably down to by Nintendo fanboyness too - when I saw that Uncharted 4 had topped off the Sony conference, I rolled my eyes. But people going mad about GTAV again? |

Sorry Rum I've added you now so if you want in on the Nintendo chatter I shall open the gates for you. Anyone else wants in you should be able to find me under either andyman949 or andrew.rice949. My display pic is a man with an alpaca. I did just type out an extensive set of comments about each conference but it just lost it so in quick summary: #1 Microsoft Lots of games, lots of fun, Platinum games. Very good, very exciting. #2 Ubisoft Nice games, fingers crossed more wing suit use this time in Far Cry, AC Unity is looking special, Rainbow Six looks amazing but is not gonna replicate the excitement of Watch_Division because it's clearly nowhere near done. #3 Sony Too much waffle, not many exclusives, not much of interest here. Talking figures and remakes is not getting me excited at 2 AM, nor is a video showing that Drake looks realistic in a cutscene. #4 EA I don't like their new announce early, be involved in the making process style. It led to pointless videos of people talking about how they're making a game and how it looks like what we thought but without the graphics yet. Lovely to know you get to work in the pub Criterion, not particularly useful info. I do feel really bad that Hardline leaked though, that would have been a Watch_Division level of wow if it had been totally fresh. Shame PSN went to hell after it so I missed out on the beta instant access... |

| Thought he want in on the Nintendo one not Sony at 2am Andy, my bad. Right after watching all the pressers I think EA was worst they started of great but too much sport, Ubisoft not far behind Tyler doesn’t bother me like some but what they showed I’m not sure about. Not a fan of AC, Didn’t like Far Cry 1&2, Urghh Fitness but they did have the only surprise revel so far in rainbow six and I do like me some rainbow six. - Before going more into the big two, this is what I thought Sony would show and Why they might not be at E3::
3rd Party including Grand Theft Auto V PS4 Edition, Yep Indies in a big way, Yep Uncharted 4, Yep Media Molecule’s new title, Nope but we got LBP3 from someone else Gran Turismo 6 PS4 Edition / Gran Turismo 7: Prologue, Nope God of War 4, Nope God of War Ascension PS4 Edition, Nope but was brought up it’s in PSNOW Sony Bend’s New Title AKA Kill Strain / Syphon Filter reboot, Nope Wipeout, Nope Quantic Dream's New AAA Title, Nope Beyond Two Souls PS4 Edition, Nope The Order: 1886, yep but awful trailer I don’t know why just didn’t show gameplay like they on twitch a few weeks ago as it looked rather good then Ninja Theory's with PS4 exclusive, Nope Sony London with a title, Nope Guerrilla Games with their RPG title, nope Sucker Punch with Infamous Second Son DLC, Yep Sony Japan Studios with Project Beast, Last Guardian (Yeah right - trolling ed) & Maybe something else, 1 of 2 Driveclub, Nope Lily Bergamo, Nope Deep Down, Nope Planetside 2, in a sizzle real H1ZI, Nope I think unless it was in the F2P sizzle EverQuest Next, Nope I think unless it was in the F2P sizzle Project Morpheus, Yep PlayStation Now, Yep over 100 games coming Sizzle Real for PS3 & VITA, Nope for PS3 Yep for VITA & more than I thought
I think I got more of MS correct; also looking at those missing studios from Sony such as Guerrilla they will be at gamescom. And Sony having a big European presence might make more sense to be there and some like Lily Bergamo more likely to be at TGS then E3.
On to who won, I’m going to say Microsoft I preferred some of the games shown by Sony but MS just showed games and all relativity decent. Where Sony just went on a bit too much, have way through about TV etc. Neither had any WOW factors or any real surprises though mainly due to the internet now leaking stuff (including myself). It’s bit of a muh E3 so far can Nintendo show us something really decent. But really how do they compare, and who won IMO based off this 1. MS had COD, Sony Had Destiny, both from Activision, Sony 2. MS had Forza Horizon 2, Sony had no racer, MS 3. MS had Evolve, Sony had Dead Island 2, both co-op shooting games, MS 4. MS had AC: U, Sony had Far Cry 4, both from Ubisoft, Sony 5. MS had DA: I, Sony had Battlefield: Hardline, both from EA, MS 6. MS had Sunset Overdrive, Sony had The Order 1886, New IPS, MS 7. MS had Dead Rising 3 DLC, Sony has Infamous Second Son standalone DLC, DLC, Sony 8. MS had Kinect games, Sony had too much yapping about TV, Stuff we don’t want, MS sooner have that 9. MS had Fable Legends & Halo 5 BETA announced, Sony had PSNOW BETA, Battlefield: Hardline & Destiny BETA & Alpha, BETA’s, MS as there’s are exclusive and we don’t get NOW in EU till 2015 10. MS had Project Spark, Sony Had LittleBigPlanet3, Make your own game games, Sony even with conker being in spark 11. MS had Ori and the Blind Forest & Indie showcase includes Limbo follow up, Sony had Entwined (Out Now), Giant Squids game ABZU, Indie Sizzle includes The Witness and showing of No Man’s Sky, Indies, Sony 12. MS had Halo Master Chief Collection includes 2 in HD, Sony has The Last of Us remastered, Grim Fandango remastered and GTAV (also on ONE & PC), Diablo III with exclusive TLoU level (also coming to ONE), HD games, MS it might only be one but what a package and most of the Sony ones a rather new games any way 13. MS had Rise of Tomb Raider, Witcher 3, and The Division with exclusive content, Sony had Mortal Kombat X, MGSV: Phantom Pain, Batman Arkham Knight with exclusive content, Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel which includes HULK as an exclusive (I think), Third party games, Sony due to MGS & Batman 14. MS had Halo 5, Sony had nothing, Big known IP, MS 15. MS had KI: Season 2 and Phantom Dust, Sony had nothing, Old IP brought back, MS 16. MS had Scalebound, Sony had Bloodborne, Exclusive IP from a Japanese Studio, Umm this is hard but going to go for Sony as I can get my platinum fix with bayonetta 2 17. MS finished with Crackdown 3, Sony finished with Uncharted 4, What they finished on, Sony 18. MS had nothing else, Sony had PlayStation TV, VITA stuff including a game from SUDA 51, Stuff from Paradox and a F2P showcase, Bonus stuff, Made the show go on to long for Sony but always nice to see SUDA 51 games MS 9, Sony had 9 it’s a tie then lol
