My pre-order is with ShopTo - they don't appear to be dispatching anything else until December 29th, so it looks like I'll be lucky to get this for the New Year.
Baws. Baws indeed! considering mine did dispatch Monday afternoon. |

| I started this last night, I've played up to the first boss and so far it's been great.
There's one bit that is kinda a playable cut-scene and it looks gorgeous. |

| Playing this right now after succumbing in Smyth's Toys (of all places). It's incredibly cute and I'm enjoying it, but I hope it gets a bit more adventurous soon (full disclosure: the next level is the fourth one in the first world. There's plenty of time. ). |

| Well, I watched the video of that boss level, which looks far bigger than anything I've conquered thus far. That fourth level featured the SM3DW Cherry, which was well used. It is looking up but only slightly. |

| Most of the levels are roughly the same size, though you there's lots of clever little ideas thrown into them (onto the third book now) I don't think this will be considered a classic by Nintendo standards but it's very good at what it does.
It is certainly more in depth than the captain toad stages of 3d world but I do wonder some folk expect more from it.

| Got to the twelfth level and had to look up one of the secrets. Deeper than expected! Hope to give it a good few hours before the weekend. |

| I've gotten really carried away with this lately. I've just been tidying up the bonus levels this morning and unfortunately I've hit a point where I'm not sure if I'll continue. I currently need to collect 5000 coins in an endless Mummy level and that would simply take more time than I'm willing to commit. |

| I heard the bonus Mario 3d world levels really weren't all that great, been thinking I might not bother with them at all. |

Just like the rest of the game then, really. |

| I'd say the 3(?) levels that are just straight up ripped from 3D World aren't up to much but the later bonus levels are Mario Galaxy Comet style runs through of the levels and they're BRILLIANT. I'd say that most of my favourite moments from the game have come from these very difficult takes on the levels. |

| Urgh, in general I can't stand making a level harder through use of a cheap device, such as giving you one life point or setting a time limit. Especially not a puzzle game, a genre slow-paced by design. |

Just like the rest of the game then, really. You sir have a blackened heart so to you. On a more serious note I honestly don't know what folk were expecting/wanting from this game, way too much it seems it's just a fun little game that will put a smile on your face. @balla To be fair things like that in games are usually a bonus and are completely optional. |

| The two types balla mentioned haven't shown up. The mummy toad style really was just don't stand still, added a bit of difficulty to the simple puzzles. There's also a nice escort toads style, which was a nice twist. |

| Glad to hear it. Really need to pick this game up at some point: might be lazy and just download it off the eShop. But I'm still Smashing, which is the other problem... |

| Really enjoying it at this point (just finished Level 16). The ideas have extended a little beyond Rubik's Cube style levels, which was important to me, and it's just fun. Not hard, per se, up to press... but fun. Games should be fun. |

| Just got this at last. It does feel a bit lightweight, but it's like a concentrated Cute generator, and you can't go wrong with that. |

Couldn't agree more, I just keep leaving Toad in bits of the level/mild peril to see what cute animation thing he does! And you can switch his little headlight off! On Book 17 now, and while it hasn't been all that hard, I have had to return to levels to dig out the secret objectives. It's also been a perfect not-too-hard stressless after work dose of fun. The lack of a time limit reall lets Toad potter about and take in the (gorgeous) graphics. I agree on the 3D World levels been a bit dump. I treated each that's unlocked so far as a "how many coins can I possibly get?" challenge, but they are pretty dull. Still, not the worst extra. Have any of you left it on the title screen? There's a couple of cute little example optical trickery levels that boot after a while that you can explore (and get a 10 coin mushroom in!) |

| Aye, I left the game on the menu one time & came back to the Captain asleep with a wee blue bird on his head I also found fun for a few moments to spin the analogue stick in a quick circle and make him get dizzy. |

| I've barely played this so far, despite loving it to bits. I'm finding it ideal for bitesize chunks in between heavier games. |

| Just beat what I thought would be the final level of this, only for yet more content to reveal itself from the darkness. When will I ever be free of this cute poison?! |

| Picked this oop today. It feels like a handheld game rather than a retail release - that aside, it's all very nice, and playing Metal Gear Solid with Toad in the Shy Guy level was fun.
Oh: when I say "all", I mean "apart from the SM3DW levels". They're a bit duff. |

| The SM3DW levels were as interesting as they could have been, I'd say, euphemistically. |
