Is anyone else planning on getting the Smash 3DS XL? I'm in the market for getting a 3DS XL, and the inclusion of the game already on the system is pretty tempting.

Although for some unknown reason, Amazon are also suggesting that I order the game with the system. You know, the same game that's pre-loaded onto the XL...
Having said that, it does look amazing and a great collectors piece.

Don't do it -- wait for the New 3DS XL (which, in Japan, is getting the same Smash Bros. design. Not sure if that's going to be released here though).

I don't think the game is on the Smash console it's just the console and that's it so I read somewhere. (Could have even been the EB website as there is a limited release of the thing here)

I'm pretty tempted by the XL, I want a second 3DS for Smash and Fantasy Life and would rather trade it in for a new one than wait for an unknown point next year.

Agree with Fronk but doubt they'll bother giving anywhere New 3DS XL Smash so far after launch of the game.

Good call Fronk about the new XL. By holding off a bit longer it should allow me to save up for it and not splurge on the credit card.

We have a demo inbound, hopefully dates are confirmed for us at this upcoming treehouse stream.

For the same reason that Mas is glad for the demo., I couldn't care less. I'm going to buy it, so there's no point in me playing an incomplete version.

Still it is good news for those who are undecided (like myself) about this version.

Oh yes, not saying it's bad in any shape or form. In fact, my desire to try out Mega Man is giving me a bit of a change of heart. Still, we don't know when it's coming out here yet.

I like the idea of a demo. This isn't a Sonic Lost World or The Wonderful 101 or something as flawed as those two; it's not going to put any meaningful number of folk off of buying it. It'll only pique interest. Looking forward to trying it.

Yeah, this might help me decide to buy the game (wavering horribly at the moment!). Hopefully it won't take up too much of the precious space on my SD card...

I got spoiled with the massive leak a few weeks back, but it hasn't lessened my excitement for the game.

I'm assuming we'll have some sort of GNamer Fight Club after release?
