My usual opinion stands on Journey, Beyond: Two Souls and Gravity Rush, though all are cheap enough to go into the give it a try category.
God of War 3 is a pretty awful starting point for the series, if you're picking up now I think the 1&2 might be on there, not 100% though. DmC is a better shot if you haven't played that anyway.
I was trying to keep more to exclusives or games that make PlayStation, PlayStation. I'm not sure what Rum likes though same goes with a bunch of your choices as some I would not recommend some I would that maybe now Rum has a large list maybe check out some videos / reviews of them and go from there. |

| I don't know if it's for everybody, but I'd recommend PacMan CE2 at the drop of a hat. Even though my old man eyes can't really cope once it gets too fast. |

The first one is quality, but I've not played enough of it. Would you recommend that I skip straight to the second one? ~ I'm playing WWE 2K17. It's quite inconsistent, altogether. There's definitely some promise, but I wish that the developer would come to their senses and return to the arcadey style of old. Here Comes The Pain on PS2 struck the perfect balance between an arcade game and a simulation, and I feel that this is definitely what 2K Games should be aspiring for. The pageantry and OTT-ness of pro wrestling doesn't translate well to a serious simulation, in my opinion. I can't see me keeping this for much longer. On a positive note, Rez Infinite comes out tomorrow! I'm all over that. |

| Only thing is Cappa 2K Sports games are all about the sim and they do really well where it matters at the shops, I don't like them at all and not played a wrestling game part for VS for years due to it.
I will be getting Rez Infinite soon as Sony sort of my refund and playing it in VR to play Mizuguchi's true vision of the game. |

| I got 2k16 on the cheap a few months ago, and it held my attention for a while. There are definitely some benefits to going down the simulation route, but 2K's realism goggles won't ever be fully realised until they ditch kayfabe and ask players to "work" matches and play around with gimmicks. Unless they really go balls deep with it, it's always going to feel like something's off because ultimately you're still asked to "win" every match. So much like Cappa, I'd prefer them to go down a more arcade avenue in the future. |

| 2K16 was free on Gold a month or two back but I've not played a huge amount. Muss is pretty spot on: it either needs to properly simulate putting on a show, or it needs to feature Bray Wyatt teleporting in and out of cages, John Cena performing Herculean feats, the Luchas jumping through the air like Spider-man and so on. |

| Played through and finished Lego Batman 3, will probably attempt to get all the trophies but that might take a while so might leave that for later. It's huge fun, the only other Lego game I've properly played is Lego City, this is obviously much more linear and on a smaller scale but it makes up for it with the Batman/DC love in, so much so it's making me want to get Lego Dimensions which I hear is much the same with it's various represented series, that price tag though. |

| After getting stomped on by Colossus 1 just as I'd got my head around the stupid-backside controls , Mas will be pleased to know that I've finally fired up Ni No Kuni. Already decided that it's the best thing on PS3 by a county mile. I don't mind telling you, I got a bit dewy-eyed (Drippy-eyed?) during the death scene... Struggling with the language though. If I turn it to English I have to put up with Oliver, but if I turn it to Japanese I miss out on Drippy's brilliant voicework. What to do, what to do... |

| Bought and started playing Tales of Zestiria, because it's only £11.99 on the PlayStation Store for a little while (normally £24.99 for the download, and going for more at retail) and I love Tales games (even if they're so-so). I don't really have the money to justify that, as I'm currently looking for work, but I'm a Tales slag. And so far it's good fun! |

| I'm working my way through The Talos Principle. It's basically The Crystal Maze with - is this a plot spoiler? I don't know any more:
post-apocalyptic robots and philosophical bullshit.
But you do feel S-M-R-T when you work out the puzzles. |

| I'm playing Doom at the minute, it nails that oldshool FPS style really well & it never gets old stunning demons with a shotgun blast or 2 then clicking R3 for the satisfying melee strikes. |

| Doom is awesome although I rarely played it due to only being able to play it late at night (if it wasn't for those pesky kids!). It's perfect "show off" material if you have a guest over too. If more FPS had that speed a la Timesplitters, I'd probably be more in touch with the FPS genre. Doom is probably the first one I've properly enjoyed since that Timesplitters era to be honest.
I'm currently addicted to Letter Quest Remastered (PS4) having initially dismissed it. It's a great combination of Countdown and RPG-levelling up. |

| It's so easy to dip in & out of too that I've found myself playing 1 or 2 missions a night & being perfectly satisfied, as for other speedy fps games hopefully ps4 gets Quake champions as well. |

| Now I just want TimeSplitters 4 more than ever I've yet to try DOOM - I know it's supposed to be great, but I've never got into old school PC FPS'. Console shooters of the TimeSplitters era are more my kind of thing. |

| I gave, For Honor, a go after downloading the Beta. The servers are a bit iffy, which is understandable, but the game itself is pretty fun. I don't think it's worth dropping a load of money on, but I've enjoyed it. |

| I played the closed beta a number of weeks back & also enjoyed it despite not being the best at it, I think the server issue is an Ubisoft wide problem at the minute as R6 Siege has been going down at least once a day for the past 4/5 days now.
Got the feeling it'd be even more fun with folk ye know especially in the 2 v 2 mode. |
