| Can't see that myself, maybe generic controllers so if you buy a LG TV and it has access to all the streaming apps eg PSN, UPlay, Origins, Battlenet, Live etc but if you have a old TV you've got to buy a a Sony Box which would have there exclusives with the DS6 controller but would still have access to UPlay etc.
That I think is the most likely, so you still have the companies out doing each other which I think we still need to have better games.
But looks like we would prefer streaming service where we pay £50 a month then downloads world that the ONE was originally.
That I could life with but would still prefer hard copies which I think Nintendo will stick with. |

I've just done a bit about SEGA and games that they need to re-release, one for the retro guys.

| Yeah, I've never seen the point in a console Animal Crossing, to be honest. The daily nature of these games seems to transfer better to handheld - I wouldn't boot up Tomodachi Life every day if it involved firing up a console, traversing through a weighty dashboard, sitting through medium load times and so on. I can be playing Tomodachi Life in about 10/20 seconds on handheld. It's that immediacy that plays a huge role in drawing you back each day. |

| Can only agree with that. Despite having long since traded New Leaf in, it wouldn't work as well on a home console. Also, nice work, Drunka (I was gonna type 'Buska' there... flashbacks)! |

| Great piece. I've always had handhelds but I find myself playing them not often and spurts if I do hence why Monster Hunter & Majoras remain untouched and Shuffle is getting some play now again, could animal crossing doing the same.
But if I had to put a bet on for what Nintendo has planned for E3, it would be Animal Crossing for Wii U.
I did really enjoy Animal Crossing on GameCube, I imported it from USA. |

| Enjoyable reads from the last two days. I've never really 'got' Animal Crossing, but then I've never been into The Sims or other games with no traditional direction or ending.
Has there been any research in to Wii-U owners also owning a 3DS though? Most of my friends who have a Wii-U don't have a 3DS. I did own a 3DS XL briefly, but found that I spent more time on the Gamepad and sold it on. |

| Hmm I think why Drunka and most people assume Wii U owners own a 3DS is lack of Wii U sales & the people that have bought a Wii U are likely Nintendo fans as Nintendo fans there likely to own a 3DS.
But I know two Wii U owners that don't a own 3DS but I know one Wii U owner who owns at least 4 3DS's that most likely if you ask every Wii U owner if they own a 3DS & how many it likely will be more 3DS's amassed between all the Wii U owners.
On AC and it's console sales both have sold over 3million each and the sales of the 3DS, Cube & Wii versions of AC are all very close in the sales in North America and even Europe (minus Cube as it only had very short run) it's only the DS one that has done mega numbers outside of Japan.
And nearly as big as sellers as console Zelda's. |

| Good read and yes a DC woo with a American controller also you can see the whole level of sonic in 30 seconds but really fast.
Also it's a museum isn't it the point to have retro and modern gaming fans, should know that before there going, |

| I don't feel that the NVA sees itself as a museum but, yes, people should know what they're letting themselves in for before they go! |

| I think the Animal Crossing series needs a different approach on consoles, I wouldn't be totally against some kind of Party game myself. |

| Thanks Zero,
I know it feels like it would suit waiting till 2016 to do such a article but felt topically with Capcom and the likely hood of re-releases turning up at E3. That it was a good time to put up.
Also like I've said to Zero else where great review which was well received by the dev team as well. |
