| ...I need a mouse, getting a mouse is on my to-do list and then I will buy the game. Whether it'll get any playtime given the existence of BSEL is another matter. |

| It really is playable in one sitting; about 3 hours will do you. If anything, I think the game only really makes sense played like that. |

| I would play it but it's on PC that I'm like can't really be arsed. |

I'll never play any game over an hour's length in one sitting. The old guilt complex comes into play after about 30min. |

Don't let that put you off; it's simple to play and would run on a toaster. |

| PI as in Pony Island? Is a mouse necessary for it? I've got a trackpad on the ol' laptop which is serviceable. |

| Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3So it's a flashier version of my favourite ever game with tons of extra levels that, for some reason, Nintendo of Europe are unable to tell folk are in there (the fabled e-Reader levels of legend are all available from the beginning)? Sign me up! Except... Mario talks when he collects power-ups and the like. It's an unnecessary addition and detracted from the game for me. 17/20 |

We chatted about this a little when I played it: the game opens by suggesting you not attempt it with a trackpad, and there's a reason for that. I actually did beat it with a pad, but with a wii remote controlling my left and right clicks on the a and b buttons, making it a bit less awkward. |

| Yes, Pony Island would be a complete nightmare without a mouse.
You could probably download some software that lets you use 360 pad or something as a mouse, which might work in PI but you would need to turn the sensitivity up crazy high. Like Drunks has said, a mouse is pretty mandatory. |

| I promise I'll get it at some stage - I love things like The Stanley Parable, so anything that kicks gaming tropes into touch is a good'n. |

| Bravely Second: End LayerThis is the best JRPG I've played in a long time - yes, better than XCX. Its only real faults are the non-interactivity of choosing a move (a problem with most turn-based JRPGs) and following on from a sequel that was kinda meh in places. But its job system and writing are excellent. A score, and why it's better than Metal Gear Solid, can be found over on Gintendo. |

| I finished Cibelle this evening. It's a short - 1.5-2 hour game about an online relationship. It doesn't have a whole lot of gameplay which I don't mind because this is very much a story driven game. It's also perhaps the only game with a *intended for mature audiences* tagline in the description which reads exactly like it does on the tin - i.e. for an adult mind, and not just a warning about gratuitous violence. I'm not really sure if I liked the game, but I certainly didn't dislike it and playing a short "drama" in the guise of a video game was rather unique. |

| I got round to playing Freedom Planet (Wii U) the other night, and I made short work of it. Simple yet enjoyable, I think it's an excellent , throwback to the classic 16-bit platformers of old. The good ones, natch, like Sonic 3 and Rister, and not the NES shite that's been tediously and unimaginatively ripped off nine thousand billion times. It stands on it's own merits as a really good game though. 8/10. |

| Pokemon BlueMy team stumbled and fainted into a victory against my rival a few moments ago. I could wax lyrical about the game for a while, but suffice to say that it's been really enjoyable - barring the odd moment when it does feel old - with the charm and simplicity of it all really drawing me in. 17/20 |

| The odd factor I'd chalk up to its age - it's quite obvious at times that it's an old game, but the sheer charm of it all helps in overlooking that. I'm loving my time in Yellow and I'll be sad to see the back of it. |

| You may have seen I've wrote a few reviews on Gintendo, well two of the games I didn't finish and you can read the DOAX3 one and find out why. But I did finish and enjoy Nitroplus on PS4 which is a fighting game which may have more content then SFV but isn't quite as good to play but I'd still give a 7. |

You know, I am sad to see the back of Blue! It's been a great nostalgia trip. Fortunately there's been plenty of Picross to go at to dull the pain, though not so much any more... My Nintendo Picross: The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight PrincessPicture at the end of every sentence the words "... but it's free", alright? So. There aren't all that many unique puzzles compared to any Picross e game. It doesn't do anything that Picross e's 4, 5 and 6 did. In fact, it doesn't do anything new at all. 14/20 |

| DoPo. Y'all had better get to finishin' up some games. Freedom PlanetEssentially the biggest love letter to MD-era Sonic The Hedgehog that there is - perhaps even more so than Sonic 4. The characters' combat abilities give it a little something extra and the cutscenes between levels made me feel like I was playing through the first story arc of a Saturday morning cartoon. In short, charm by the bucketload and a very able platformer. However, those cutscenes can be stupidly long. I get that there's a fully voice-acted story to be presented - and you can choose to play through the game without them - but the flow, man, the flow. In addition, bosses often veer to the insanely difficult. The final one kicked me to death 29 times, which made up over a third of my total deaths (yay embarrassing death counter! ). Serves me right for playing on Normal, I suppose! 15/20 |

| Shovel KnightPlayed a lot of this while I was in France/ on planes and buses. A remarkable little game. Amazing music, beautifully, artfully drawn sprite work, immense amounts of character and perfect gameplay. I can't really fault it on anything. I even cared about the story at the end there. 10/10Shut up Balla. |
