| A load of gameplay footage went up today, and I'm a lot more excited about it now. To me it feels more Epic Yarn than Yoshi's Island, which is definitely a good thing. Don't want this game to toil in the 1995 original's shadow.
Also: No sedate Tezuka music! A big surprise given his compositions are used every time we see the game. That's definitely a good thing in my eyes.

| Shame about how the story is told, at least at first. Seems a bit half-arsed: https://youtu.be/adkH0fBPJLs
Compare that to Epic Yarn's narration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URskY_cpHgk&feature=youtu.be&t=34 |

Glad to hear that Woolly World is closer to Epic Yarn than Super Mario World 2 right enough. It's weird: there have only been three games like Yoshi's Island in the last nineteen years, but it feels like hundreds. |

| The 'regular' stable of Yoshi have cool fur/wool variants: https://youtu.be/d4_JRPhDtiY
Just noticed a few have the "U" from the Wii U logo on them -- why not let us design our own patterns, like in Mario Kart DS and Animal Crossing?
The Amiibo ones? Woe be Pac-Man Yoshi. Or Wario Yoshi. Brr...

Jeez, Fronky, it's like you don't read every post or something! I would love to be Warioshi, but I'll settle for Kirbyoshi (if I can get ZJ to lend me his amiibi). |

Yoshi seems to have a new noise - "badubudubudum".
Sorry, I had to enquire about this somewhere. |

| Yeah, it looks like you'll have to be quick and precise in places - not the more sedate Yoshi I'm used to, maybe, but then the formula does need a good shake-up. Angora get it on day one. |

| Another adorable trailer! I honestly don't see how anyone can not be hyped for this, apart from extreme 2D platformer fatigue. |

| I'm getting but not hyped as like Balla says 2D fatigue and hard to find to enjoy something in the genre since Rayman Legends. |
