I didn't play on ps2 a whole lot myself but I wouldn't say it was crap as it had a tonne of great games, also the argument wasn't that SEGA wasn't relevant it was that their line up (of non-published/non-fan made titles) isn't good.

Tressmuff said forgotten about like SEGA about Nintnedo where SEGA has one of my most anticipated games of 2016 coming and I know others on here are exited for in Persona 5 and my list of games I can are all owned by or made by SEGA in someway.

And from are Podacst one of Andy's Top 5 games of 2015 is from SEGA and maybe the two I list in the series will be just as good.

You are a SEGA fanboy though and despite them publishing Persona 5 I wouldn't call it a SEGA game because they aren't the ones developing it.

That means Fire Emblem Fates isn't a Nintendo game as intelligent systems are developing it and Uncharted 4 isn't a Sony game as Naughty Dog are developing that.

Widely regarded as, too. The PS2 Slim is one of my favourites of all time. There's at least 100 "great" games on it, some of them SEGA ones (Virtua Fighter 4, Outrun 2006...). Dirt cheap as well.

Ironically, I always thought of Persona as a PS2 series. Wasn't one released on it long after many had moved on to the newer consoles?

@OR & @gJones my lack of love for the PS2 is well known in these parts, I think I mat of even voted for it the Top 10 worst consoles back when we did the vote.

I like all the other Sony systems though, also yeah Persona 4 came out on PS2 after the PS3 was out.

It's better to make things as clear as possible especially when people can only read your words, so technically you are right (because first party) but I still wouldn't say Persona is a SEGA game as they didn't create it just acquired the developer who did.

So it all comes down to who created and owns the IP as if Naughty dog or Rare left their respective deals with Sony/MS then they'd probably (if they're smart) take most of the big IP's with them because it's their game.

Might not be the most interesting discussion topic but I felt I had to say that I personally don't see Persona as their (SEGA) game & that if a game as a different publisher from those who develop it then it's the latter's game not the former.

To me it'd be like saying Bayonetta 2 is a Nintendo game not Platinum.

But that's different as that was a paid exclusive in Bayo 2 not something Nintendo actually own or developed with one of there teams , if we went what's Nintendo bring out in 2016 it be like one game, if we only talked about what there developing there self's but you wouldn't just list that one game you go well Nintendo has Star Fox Zero, Fire Embelm Fates, Pokken coming in 2016

I agree Persona isn't very SEGA but it is there's now to what they want with like out Hatsune Miku into the series and the original thing was is SEGA forgotten they maybe but there games in some way won't be.

Sega is pish and it's always been pish, Mario is better than Sonic, the Super FX Chip and Mode 7 are better than Blast Processing.
