| I was bored and looking at retro games on eBay ending that day and Pikmin 2 was on a £102.
I did have a wee bid on some Wii games but didn't win any of them. |

| Enjoyed that Nintendo Life video.
There is definitely an important historical/archival element to the system-exclusive games becoming scarce and expensive, but for titles that are available on modern systems it does make you wonder. Is Super Mario Sunshine on Cube worth £32 at CEX, when you could pick up the 3D Allstars Collection for the same price? Particularly when Cube games are going to become more scratched/used, rely on memory cards and can look like they were drowned in vaseline on a 4K telly.
It's an interesting conversation, but the demand for Nintendo games will always remain high in my opinion. Their brand is synonymous with quality and timeless design. It's like trying to buy a VW Golf when there's a SEAT or Skoda available with 95% of the same parts, yet the VW will be worth more. At least that's how I view stuff like Timesplitters 2 on the GameCube - there's literally no reason to get it on the Cube unless that's your only console option... |

| I remember when SOTN come out on 360, people were freaking out that it would plummet in value. It never did and now about £400 (complete with soundtrack) which is only £60 less than buying a Series X & playing via backwards compatibility. |

| Nah, it was a manky USA SNES. That Blizzard Arcade Collection looks interesting to me, but at £17 for three SNES games it can wait for a price drop. |

| I actually quite like the look of Mas' Spectrum keyboard. Bit blocky, but nice colour scheme. Jim's has a retro charm to it that doesn't quite outweigh the ugly. Cappa's melts my eyes. |

| That Spectrum keyboard is from the later era when Alan Sugar took over the brand, and basically made it a different Amstrad CPC - but both are at least fun to press. The Acorn Electron keyboard is gross and goes KLENK every time you press a key. |

| That TOCA Touring Cars cover has got my nostalgia gland twitching. What a game and a £9.99 range is madness! |

| My local Blockbuster would have all sorts of these Value Series games for well under a tenner, always on sale. I've still got that copy of Abe's Oddysee and all it's sticker nostalgia. I've just remember my mate and I going halfers on a game that was down to £1.25: I think we paid for it in coppers for a laugh (because we were dickhead twelve year olds) |

I might be wrong but I'm sure I've seen the PlayStation 4 Hits for £10 sometimes. |

| Yeah I think the PS4 ones are £15.99 but are often found reduced. The Game Collection have them at £8.95 and PSN they are usually down to £7.99. I'm not that keen on the big red bar across them - if you're going to do a discount range at least make them stand out and different. I loved the silver GameCube Player's Choice range, or the original PS1 Platinum range. I could just have a thing for silver though. |

| Yeah the American GameCube cases are a weird bunch. They are built differently and were a lot harder to open I recall. Big fan of the American DS cases though, better than our bloated white messes we got.
The mini boxart design that Nintendo adopted for the Selects range I'm less keen on - give us the full boxart but with a twist. |

| The PSN stores are closing on PSP, PS3 and VITA.
Most of the chat since the news has been about the VITA of the three, guessing because its the only current handheld Sony did, where we've had PS4 & 5 since that think people less bothered about PS3.
Due to that is there any PS3 PSN games you recommend? |

| On the recent Back Page episode, he listed a few PS3 PSN games. The only one I remember is Tokyo Jungle. Have you played that? Seems like something you ought to have at least a go on. |

| Yeah that one is tempting but did get a physical version in Japan, still easiest way would just play via PSN.
Only other one I can think of is Infamous Festival of Blood. |

| This news has made me want to go out and buy a Vita, weird that the removal of a service is better than any marketing they ever did for the console.
Anyway this situation sucks arse. |

| I can kinda get it, as how long is a piece of string as seen people should be up forever.
Just the surrounding PR sucks as lillymo just bought a VITA dev kit, now will be useless pretty much for them, others rushing to get games done or cancelling stuff.
Now wondering how about 3DS which I'm sure in places like Central America already gone, Wii U and what's left of the 360 which isn't Xbox One/Series compatible how long all these have. |
