To anticipate a possible question (probably from Mas): Jay is going to be doing this year's votey thread, but he's giving it a bit longer because ~~he hasn't been online~~ he wants to give people a bit longer to have a crack at any games they got for Christmas. Which is fair enough.

I think I've actually played >0 games that came out in 2022 as well, so can actually join in. My opinions are still invalid of course.

The astute Moyles strikes again, because to be fair I've played 2 games that were on my Game Game Show game of the year list which, at the time of recording, I hadn't played Laughing

Yeah, I'm planning on putting the vote thread up at some point over this weekend. I'm hoping it gives people time to get a good impression/finish some of their Christmas games and lets us have a solid vote thread!

Fortunately for your chances of finishing one of your Christmas games, the vote thread will be a wee bit delayed - I've been pretty poorly over the last couple of days and haven't had a chance to sit down and make the thread yet. Apologies folks.
