| Quality thread, Cappa. Biggest smile I've had since Star Fox 0 stopped being shown. |

| Stepping back for a moment, I have to say that I agree with Drunka's piece. I've already fought my way up through the construction of my village twice, once quite recently in ACNL. I wouldn't want to do so again, not so soon. Not without some significant changes to the formula. I would have been quite happy for them to do something else with the franchise.
It's that it was a sodding amiibo board game that pissed me off. |

This could be the OP for every new game thread from Nintendo's E3 event. |

| Someone at Nintendo reads my stuff. This looked a bit naff from what was shown, but I'm hopeful there's more to this and the Happy Home one that we haven't seen. |

| My favourite new game from the direct. I really like Boom Street and I'm pretty interested in this. Good stuff! |

| But it's not Mario Party, it's Boom Street! A monopoly like game with no minigames but some great stock trading and investment systems. It really is a lot of fun. |

| It's a hard one to sell but anyone who plays it has a lot of fun. It's all about taking a gamble by investing in the right places and expaning the right hotels with the added bit of monopoly style luck of where you're going to land and therefore pay out/buy.
Overall if you like Monopoly this is the best way to play it. |

Bingo bango. On some level Nintendo deserve some praise for trying to do different things with their franchises, but the feel of this is wrong to me. It might even be better off as a mobile game. |

| It's also switched me from thinking that amiibo are underused, to thinking that they're a bad idea in general. |

| If you do buy the game you get two amiibo and 3 cards, which isn't a bad deal but I'm not rushing out to preorder or anything. |

| But Boom Street is improved Monopoly. It's just impossible to show it other than to play it |

| I've got to be honest... I don't get it. Admittedly, I don't really get the appeal of Monopoly. But I didn't even follow the point of this game in the trailer. Is it like Monopoly / Boom Street? And of course, it relies on people actually using their Amiibo for their intended purpose. |

| Everything I saw looked exactly like Boom Street, however I do have a trained eye for such things and the trailer did say very little, so I totally get the confusion. I just wish someone else was excited for it too |

So it's like Mario Party minus the one thing that makes Mario Party bearable? |

| This is not the Animal Crossing I was hoping for. Not even slightly. I was hoping for a truly next-gen Animal Crossing, with a bigger town, more options, more activities, more characters and more places to visit - DLC to add new destinations to keep it fresh. Unless there is more to it than what I see so far, I am quite likely to skip it entirely. |

Exactly what I was wanting too. Guess we're gonna have to wait until the NX. |
