Aw, I would have been down for a Firefly cast!

I've actually been trying to get back into podcasts, so I'll chuck it onto my podcast app and see if an episode takes my fancy here or there.

I've mostly been listening to the Easy Allies Podcast as my gaming podcast of choice - I appreciate their mostly optimistic taste on gaming and their general enthusiasm for video games is refreshing considering the often negative chat that can surround video gaming as an industry.

The Magnus Archives. It's been described as 'like British Night Vale' but that doesn't cut it. It's genuinely creepy little twenty-minute anecdotes that I think might link together into a bigger plot. Definitely goes heavier on the creepy than Night Vale does, and is possibly better for it. Definitely its own beast, and thus far, recommended to anyone who wants some creepy horror with a plot - or, more straightforwardly, anyone who has already spent more time than they should on the SCP Project.

I'll recommend that one to my pal Rob.

I don't listen to much scripted or overly produced stuff unless he recommends it. I've listened to a couple of choice This American Lifes that he sent my way, Wolverine (cheesy but okay), The White Vault (scary but diminishing returns) and Vast Horizons (absolutely breath-taking, from start to finish).

Okay, we're (The Lady's into it too now) at the end of Season 1 of Magnus and I'm willing to call it my favourite podcast ever at this point (present company's offerings aside, of course ).  I don't even like horror!
