| How this game doesn't have it's own thread is almost as mind blowing as the game it self. This easily one of my most anticipated games on any format not just the PS4.
Anyway the reason I've made this thread as No Man's Sky is this months IGN first where this 18minutes video of gameplay went up and ohh my, does it look good.
I hope we get a release date during the IGN first and that it's this year. |

| Big rumors going around that on Oct 27th the day of Sony's Paris Games Week Conference also the same day Halo 5 launches, that they will announce at PGW that No Man's Sky is out now a bit like last years Gamescom with P.T. but on a bigger scale. |

| Really? That's awful timing if it is - same day as a big Xbox exclusive and very close to Fallout. |

| But remember P.T. everyone was talking about it afterwards and you know how anticipated No Man's Sky been & the press around it. That it might distract from that avg Joe goes on IGN or whatever, it all be about NMS. |

| P.T was a free weird demo thing. I don't think the Xbox clash is such an issue though, not sure there's enough crossover between XBOne and PS4 owners right now. |

| I think it's more to make PS4 in the publics eye then Halo 5 as sites will all likely have news that the anticipated No Man's Sky is now out, and have Let's Plays, Articles etc |

| I'm still going to be waiting for reviews on this one but at least we know it's a survival game now. |

| I would still call it an exploration game from what I've seen. It has survival elements but you could choose to ignore them and just spend your time exploring without issue. |

| I'd even wait a couple of months after release. I'm curious as to the game;s longevity. Might get a bit Spore |

Exploration & survival pretty much go hand in hand though, sure it's going to be the type of game where you can choose to play it however you want but from the preview I recently read it's a resource intensive game meaning if you lack the right resources then your exploration will be limited. |

| Well well this is nearly here but will it be any good? also you guys may have seen a leaked copy which sold for £1300 on eBay has been completed by the guy who bought it.
Also the trophy list is up and looks rather doable.

It feels like you do that with a lot of games to be honest. |

| I like to try all the games as you know from my goes of Souls and MonHan, No Man's Sky is one of them where I'm now more curious about it all.

| I'm not talking about how you like to try all games but how you tend to get swept up in the hype/get excited for some & then when they release that same excitement isn't there or at least it doesn't appear to be. Just find it funny that you went from this: - mas wrote:

To just being curious about it. |

| As you've even said before (I think you have) that the game should have come out awhile as those two quotes were almost a year apart.
I'm not saying we should have had the game and it was rushed, that a delay etc you all know the quote but we've seen so much about the game.
Where you take ABZU where I've been excited about for awhile due to the Journey connection, then it just comes out without much around the game in till like the day before it comes out and the game if you read my thoughts in the last game I finished thread, I really liked the game. |

| To be fair, there wasn't exactly much you could show of ABZU... NMS has plenty to show off and they have to try as it seems like it's a whopping game.
I think the best comparison is Inside, if you look back on the E3 2014 trailer (but only do so if you've played it) it shows off like 80% of the game, if they did something similar for ABZU or Journey it'd be in the same boat. |

| Yeah and the game was shown first back in 2013 and has been almost every event as well. 3 years of hype is a lot and it's not like FFXV which has been 10 years in the making which I am looking forward to as that disappeared for years and the demo's have given me a feel of the game.
That I know when that comes it's going to be like this.
@Andy Inside comes to PS4 this month from rumors and trophy leaks, I will download and play it when it comes. |

| This came today and I've been playing for the last 2hrs or so, I was streaming to over 800 people with a 800+ comments in the chat which I gave up following.
Only stopped as was kicked from PSN and reading bits of the chat seems twitch streams etc are being taken down and loads going he's (me) just been banned.
I've not as signed back into PSN, just fine but I think no more streaming till after launch even if the reset is happening tomorrow.
On the game, so far it plays like any other with a goal but with resource management and on a larger scale as at one point if I didn't go into some sort of Hyper speed, it would have took 6 real life hours to get to the space station. |

| I was having a little chuckle at the bit where people said it would come out a year ago!
I might have a little watch if you stream again. This is a game that really intrigues me, even if I'm unlikely to ever play it. Even if/ when I get the ps4 I doubt I'll have the time to get the most from it. |
