| Five rounds of very hot chillies. I felt like I'd snogged a stinging nettle bush. |

That was insanity, mate. I'd have gotten nowhere near. |

The facial expressions on offer in that video were excellent. Case in point: |

| In 2040 there will be a documentary called "The '10s: When humanity sort of lost it" - Drunka's going to be in about 20% of the video footage |

| A keralan curry that Jo made, from a recipe of Nigella Lawson's. It was delicious! |

| A DoPo, on my own thread, which was last posted in nearly seven months ago. However... - Food musings:
...yesterday I had lunch in Burger King. I can't find a good picture of it on the Go Ogle but it was the King Fish sandwich, which is basically three fish fingers in a bun with some melted cheese, drab sauce and lettuce (why did it have to be lettuce?!). A once-in-a-lifetime experience, for the wrong reasons.
Later I had dinner in Mr. Cooper's House and Garden, which is the sort of restaurant that they might send MasterChef candidates to, such was the level of mad faeces that was going down. I had a clam chowder - as did Jo - which was one of the finest soups I've ever tasted (though a shamefully small amount of same) for starters and a smoked pollock on an eel risotto for my main. Whilst not quite as good, it was still tippety-top.

| Have you seen the advert for that Skyr yoghurt? With the boy who's a messenger and eats Skyr? He later grows up to be a man who eats Skyr? Don't eat Skyr. It is the most sour and unpleasant yoghurt - nay, foodstuff - I have eaten in a long time. A long time. |

| I had a thought as I ate my dinner which I have fairly regularly: I own a Breville. Why am I not eating cheese and ham toasties every day? |

| Yesterday (all my troubles seemed so far away), Jo insisted we start to try to eat tofu. I'd never had it before yesterday and it almost feels like I've still never had it: it doesn't taste of much and scarcely made its presence known in the lovely bowl of food in which it was placed (which contained about eighteen of my five a day: beansprouts, beans, lentils, red peppers, peas, etc.). A nice piece of salmon could have replaced it far better - like bringing on Thierry Henry for Jason Lee.

| I tried those Linda McCartney veg mozzarella burgers the other day, was not impressed by them as the Soya (I think it was that) overpowered all the other ingredients. |

| So, I've got a new job in Wagamama, and as part of our training we have to eat one of everything on the menu. From thereon, we get a free meal, side and juice every shift. It's going to be A) amazing and B ) fattening. I can't wait.
On the first day I had Chicken Katsu Curry (it's the restaurant's most popular dish, so they made us all try it). It was amazing.
On the second day, I decided to represent my girl Min Min and eat some ramen. Ramen is great, but half of it went in my beard. For a side, I thought SPLATOOOOOON and had chilli squid. |

| Wagamama is the best. I wish there were one close to where I live, but the nearest is 30 miles away. Put a good word in for us, lad. |

| It really is. I go there once a week most weeks. Katsu curry is a thing of beauty, but I also really like the teriyaki dish. Tori kara age and duck gyoza as sides, and the white chocolate ginger cheesecake is one of the best desserts I've ever had at a chain restaurant. Enjoy, Drunka! |

| Just to continue the Wagamama's campaign, a restaurant park that's just been built near me has suffered from Bella Italia pulling out, so there's a unit for them to move into readily available in the city. Seriously considering writing to head office about this. On topic, I had a Cauliflower Burger from Hard Rock Café yesterday. The main flavour was goats' cheese, which I don't like, but overall it was an experience and I'm glad I did it. The fries came with a surprisingly nice chilli mayonnaise, so that made up for it somewhat. |

Don't be that guy! There are so many things on the menu, be adventurous! (That said, the katsu curry is a thing of beauty). |
