I just did full stops, then used the colours from Jimbob's post (I knew which ones to do by quoting his post) then upped the size as far as it goes. It was not necessarily worth the effort, but everyone else seems to have joined in.

NGamer had white text on a light orange background more often than my tired eyes would have liked. They were happy to do whatever.

Now, Matthew Castle and Ben Griffin are the producers on XBox On, a subsidiary of the YogsCast. They appear occasionally on streams (which in all fairness, before it sounds like I'm bashing this too much, are currently raising an unbelievable amount of money for charity), where they are known as Red Guy and Griff. Matthew is Red Guy because he always wears a red jumper. But we know that he always wears blue jumpers. Do you ever feel like something weird happened to the space time continuum?

Wonder if it's a Red vs Blue thing as well with those names.
I've not watched much Xbox On, so I don't now how passionate they're about Xbox but I know they're good game journalists and jobs a job.

I'm thinking of resurrecting this but putting a twist on it.
Some potential ideas:
-Post 20th anniversary news pieces from N64 Magazine. These would be early Gamecube rumours, screenshots and ANYTHING Gamecube, and would generate discussion on the board where I "think" many are big Cube fans. -I have a complete set of Super Play (downloaded) so there's the chance to share these - not sure about anniversary stuff but it would be cool to run through them like it was 1992. -Set up an NGamer Wiki page on Fandom, and pull all the information from SP, N64, NGC, NGamer into one helpful Wiki! I've spent a fair amount of time doing this at magazinesfromthepast.fandom.com already so there's enough to start.
Any more ideas are welcome...

For these three ideas that you've suggested, they'd all be interesting. I think you've got a point about GameCube discussion, but I'm honestly happy to see whatever anniversary idea you run with. I know you'll do it really well.
EDIT: here's a video that you won't have seen or thought about in years - it's the one where Mark Green films where NGamer worked. It looks utterly, utterly miserable.

I'd be well up for this - we had a thread like this a while back, but we just ripped headlines and release schedules from the likes of IGN so we could only go back so far. Having a magazine to work from would be excellent. Seconding Cappa's point about being into whatever you choose to do, mind you.
Cappa: Bloody hell, most of them did not look happy about being filmed there!

I’m definitely up for any of those three! The Wiki seems like it would be a lot of work but definitely the best celebration if you can be bothered. I’ve never really read SP and would be curious to see where it all started.
Capps: Aw, young excited Matthew! And next to him, Kittsy... Does look a bit pokey, but I believe that Matthew at least still looks back on his time there fondly.

I'll roll with the Super Play idea, as it's probably the time that many of us missed out on. I was a Mega Drive kid myself. And it may lure Zero back!
We'll do it proper and given many of the games are available on Switch, SNES Minis and emul-(*SLAP* - Ed), it will be a great way to cover one of the best consoles without being tied to anniversaries.
Stay tuned.

It looks like every bloody office to be fair - more fun than my office, that's for sure! I (think the powers that be have finally got the idea that it needs a spruce up and, you know, not to put new people directly facing a blank wall). Although, I bet it looked more fun in the N64 age. And Matthew does look like he's aged 20 years in that time, if you see him on RPS (although by that I mean he looks his actual age now, and about 12 there)

Me too! This is possibly the best period for this stuff, and it's the one I know least about.

In NGamer-related news, did anyone see Wil Overton of Super Play/N64 fame is launching a new Nintendo magazine?
It's called Falcon Punch - https://twitter.com/MagazineFalcon/status/1242534154991996929
If done right, this could be JUST what we are after.

Didn't he try one not that long ago (During WiiU)?

He was trying to do, like, specific single franchise one off things.

Hopefully, it's good as at the moment Switch Player which I have a few is basically a game on Switch give it 5/5 the VITA Mag they did before was the same mind. I've tried Nintendo Force which is another I know about.
