I don't know which is more beautiful, that or Yoshi's New Island.

I thought they'd named the game as a funny little reference... but then I caught a look at the overworld they showed off at the end of the trailer. Jesus.
It's even got the dramatic fade to black from the E3 trailer! In fact... this warrants some rework on their trailer.
Edit (but not really, I'm just adding to this post like half an hour after starting it): It is done.

Probably better than any part of the game will be. Top marks for effort.

Is it bad that after making that video I kinda want to buy this for a Gintendo article?

I didn't really get that into it after having picked it up as a part of a Humble Bundle a few months back, but I am aware that there is a mod for the PC version wherein every townsperson has their own wank scheduled into their weekly routines.
I feel like the eshop is in increasing need of a few UI updates. I hadn't looked at it for a month or so and the amount of choice already available is quite impressive. There's a few older launch titles I want to keep an eye on, to see if their price comes down, but its getting a bit more cumbersome sifting through several screens to find them. Nice to have so much choice though.
I don't quite get Stardew Valley from what I've seen of it, that mod is the only thing that would tempt me to play it, not enough games address such an important issue.
100% agree with the UI of the eShop needed work though, I'd go as far as to say it's a complete mess in it's current state, if you know exactly what you're looking for then that's cool but otherwise it just sucks, also needs more music because, you know? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8avMLHvLwRQ

I'm avoiding buying any games at the moment, but Yono and the Celestial Elephants looks almost unmissable. It's so damn cute innit!

This is nice to see & I've still yet to pick it up myself.
Also the e shop itself has had a wee update where they've added a 'current offers' tab for games that are on sale.

Over a dozen games again this week I don't think any are anything special.
One of the games is Revenant Saga a PS1 / SNES era JRPG, I feel like Zero may have played it on Wii U.

This was one I dismissed as a rather basic looking curio when it appeared in Nindie round-ups, but then Kate Gray started raving about how cute it was... I do like cute things.

It's a Kemco RPG, and though I'm told they're all pretty much identical, the one I played was called Asdivine Hearts. It was OK but nowhere near challenging what even the second tier of the genre has to offer.

Well at the moment for JRPGs the choice is that or I Am Setsuna, meaning it may do well.

Of the eleventy squillion games that were released on the eShop ths week, I can recommend Elliot Quest. It's a hard as nails Zelda II-like game with aesthetics to match. I understand that the Switch version has lowered the difficulty level but I'm more interested to find out if it's more stable than the Wii U version. I might get it once I've beaten Golf Story.
Did anyone take a punt on any eShop games this week?

I haven't yet, but I'm definitely planning to bag Stardew Valley with one of the vouchers I got for my birthday.

Elliott Quest has dropped nicely into my watch list on Switch! I think Golf Story will be my next eShop purchase, though.

Only gone and got myself Thimbleweed Park in the Halloween sale. Not played it yet as it's only just finished downloading. Looking forward to tucking into it.

That Halloween sale is just keech - there's literally pennies off of some of those games. Still, Snake Pass at half price is all right, and Shovel Knight with all the additonally stuff for under £18 is

Thankfully both very different, I may pick up Cat Quest myself but I'm not getting Rocket League as I din't like it on PS4 and not sure how much multiplayer will be played as when was the last time we played Kart 8D or Splat 2.
