| That's some bangers and on the still to download list you need to get Firewatch as it's easily the best game.
Thought Desert Child sounded a bit mince from what I've seen from reviews, with only the art style being the redeeming value.

| Not going to lie it was the Hip-Hop soundtrack (which has some Mega Ran on it) and the visuals that pulled me in. |

| Yeah I was taken in by the trailer but maybe I'll look into it a little more before I go for it. |

- It's Christmas Eve! I'm working tomorrow, so I'm having my Christmas today. Opened some small things from my family this morning, I'm drinking my Pistachio Christmas Tree Starbucks Latte and later on I'm eating my KFC XMas Bucket.
I've downloaded: The Gardens Between, Yoku's Island Express, GRIS, Okami, Gone Home, 1979 Revolution, The First Tree, The Banner Saga and . . . Warframe.
I've got a few quid left and I'm expecting a voucher from a least one more auntie, so I'm still eyeing up: Fire Watch, Hyper Light Drifter, The Messenger and Desert Child. I reckon I'll try to find Katamari in a box instead, I'm also hyped for Rain World and Sayonara eventually. That sounds like an excellent Christmas, right down to the over-indulgence. At least you won't get plump from over-gaming! (Christmas bucket is a different matter: 'snack' review material maybe?) Any of those you're particularly excited for? |

| Seconding the Firewatch recommendation - definitely worth a shout, that one. |

| I've purchased Hyper Light Drifter for now. Firewatch will almost certainly be acquired eventually but I've really fancied HLD for a while. |

| Yoku's Island Express being £8 means you all have to get it now. |

| 100% buy Yoku's Island Express, it's one of them games that just keeps you smiling throughout.
Metroidvania isn't quite accurate I'd say either so I wouldn't worry about being too fatigued from the genre, it'll be one the best £8 you'll spend.

| You know what? That's convinced me and it is now currently downloading - it also helps that it's about 6-10 hours long so it'll be a nice palate cleanser after something long. |

| Nice convincing skills Yeah, I hesitate to call Yoku a 'MetroidVania'. It's a pinball-2d-adventure game. One with a really chilled out and welcoming atmosphere, but exploring its world also requires skill, patience and good timing with the pinball flippers. Also that main theme! |

| I really need to play that as well, even worse I own it on disc.
Anything else worth checking out in the sale? As I can see me using my Switch a lot in the next few weeks due to SMASH, Starlink, Quarantine Circular (I know it's only two hours) and seeing Jay now has Diablo III, I may finally start that,
Being on the Switch and ecosystem, I am more likely to play other things on it, hence why I'm asking about the sale. |

| Yoku's Island Express is the bollocks - SEGA should bump that idea and use it for a new, good Sonic Spinball.
That's probably my highlight of the whole eShop sale. Other than that, the SEGA AGES update of Thunder Force IV is down to only £4.49 👌 |

| I had a proper look at the eShop sale, all these sort of interest me
Pato Box £9.44 The Coma Recut £5.39 Punch Club £6.74 Shu £3.84 Nihilumbra £1.79 Implosion £6.45 Hover £11.99 Yono £7.49 The Next Penelope £3.99 Detention £5.69 Crossing Souls £6.74 Fear Effect Sedna £3.99 Lost in Harmony 99p Hollow £1.79 Into the Breach £7.63
Anything anyone would recommend or know much about? I do have about £2 in gold which would make likes of Lost in Harmony free. |

| Shu is just okay. I played through it back in the spring, and I think I gave it 6/10 in the reviews thread. I'd say it's not essential. |

| Hyper Sentinel might be worth a look - it's down to £1.99 (80% off) and it's got a demo. I'm downloading the full game as I type 👍 |

| Hyper Sentinel is a very good high score chasing game, and also made by a regular from GRcade (starquake) so well worth supporting, especially at that price!
Also +1 yoku and yono recommendations. |

| I may have to leave Travis Strikes Back for a while, because Yiik has shot to the top of my 'Play After Smash' pile. It reads like Jay's wet dream and Cappa's worst nightmare. |

Both have rather mixed reviews but from what I played of YIIK for what seems like eons ago at EGX, be the one I would go for. |
