Nintendo Switch eShop Thread

I'm still yet to play but you know I was hyped for GRIS well seems I was right as seen some 10's and even Scullion has given it a 9/10.

It looks to be in the same boat as Gorogoa, a beautiful artsy experience.

So I'll probably not care for it.

M8, I don't hate artsy, Gorogoa was a banger. I just hate tedious games with no gameplay.

Im pretty pumped for Reigns (and I know better than to listen to Andy wjen he's the only dissenting opinion) but I reckon it'd be better on my phone.

I'm getting a pretty good idea of what stuff Ill download (and then never play).

I do feel that Reigns may suffer from Mr Robot syndrome in that every person who praises it has just seen a bit and not pushed through to the point where it all falls apart.

It's a cool idea, but I just found it frustrating when I actually wanted to finish it. They fixed things a bit in Her Majesty, but it still became a bit like random chance to actually try and finish the game, which really soured me on it.

Right I had 36 games on that post of mine and you can now add GRIS to those after finishing but to make it easier this is my Top 10

Okami HD for you would be easy to buy physical why it doesn't make it and I think you played Celeste but those 10 are a nice mix.

All these lists make me realise that I can't join in with any top 10 lists! I've just not played hardly anything. When I do get to play, it's been a big-o-game, or something from many years ago *sigh*.

Some good deals on the eShop right now - got Thumper for about £6 and Child of Light: Ultimate Edition for under £11.

Also Donut County has arrived, which I played on PS4 and although it's slight, it's a lorra fun. I think mas would agree with me on that.

Donut County is brilliant and is like the perfect Switch game.

I donut want to miss out on that... but the usual excuse applies.

I used some of my gold coins and got Into the Breach for £9.25 earlier but god knows when I'll get around to it, and the plan was buy a few more but considering the Witcher 3 (which I hear is quite long) is my main game currently I have held off for now.

Did you get the dreaded e-mail? "You have gold coins expiring at the end of the month! £1.10 down the drain buddy!"
I've set a reminder on my phone for the 28th December, to squint at all the things on my wish list, to work out which one I can use to "save money" buy spending 9 quid on top. Excel may be involved.

I've never gotten anywhere close to gold coins expiring and "you have platinum coins expiring, get yourself some more screensavers boi" doesn't have the same sense of fear to it.

What do Platinum Coins buy these days? I don't think I've used them since I uninstalled Miitomo.

Nah, just noticed I had over 2 quids worth so thought it was time to use them - how long is it before they expire anyway?

You can still use them for some of the discounts although they're pretty much redundant since the Switch arrived. Other than that there's aforementioned wallpapers and stuff for the mobile games, the only one of which I have installed still is Super Mario Run.

It's Christmas Eve! I'm working tomorrow, so I'm having my Christmas today. Opened some small things from my family this morning, I'm drinking my Pistachio Christmas Tree Starbucks Latte and later on I'm eating my KFC XMas Bucket.

I've downloaded: The Gardens Between, Yoku's Island Express, GRIS, Okami, Gone Home, 1979 Revolution, The First Tree, The Banner Saga and . . . Warframe.

I've got a few quid left and I'm expecting a voucher from a least one more auntie, so I'm still eyeing up: Fire Watch, Hyper Light Drifter, The Messenger and Desert Child. I reckon I'll try to find Katamari in a box instead, I'm also hyped for Rain World and Sayonara eventually.

@Drunka Twitter showed you liking some of those trailers yesterday and I quite liked the look of Desert Child and Rain World.
