I've played through Forgotten Anne twice (only a week or two ago), I really enjoyed it. It's a beautiful looking game in gameplay, and probably the closest I've come to playing a Studio Ghibli film. Definitely more about the story and the art than the gameplay, but that is serviceable enough. My only major complaint is how dialogue can't be skipped so it's veery slow to replay any of it.

Devolver digital are at it again publishing this cool looking game where you play as a Cat.

Fixed that for you.
Did the footage look jittery to anybody else? I don't know if that's the game, the website or me but it looked like it was stuttering during gameplay.

I did think of scoring that word out & the game didn't seem jittery to me but I initially watched it on my tablet.

I remember seeing a trailer for it a while back that had worse music than Yoshi's Crafted World.
Still looks nice, but... yeah.

I think/hope that's just music for the trailer rather what will be in game.
EDIT: Yup it has a more eerie Sci fi thing going on.

It's clearly a prequel to this classic.

The current eShop sale is pretty sweet! I bought SteamWorld Dig, SteamWorld Dig 2, and SteamWorld Heist, with the grand total for the three being (I think) £13.90. I already own the first one on 3DS but haven't played it for about 5 years, so thought it was worth double dipping!

Yeah, lots of great titles in that sale! I like that the wishlist does show you the price of each title and if it's on sale too - makes it an easier job searching for something to buy, I suppose.

Hope other people find some games they want! The one I got hold of, Wandersong, hasn't really worked for me to be honest. Hey ho, back to Baba...

I've got a lot of stuff to play already, and there are quite a few games, from Nintendo, third parties and indies, which I'm eyeing up. Despite that, today I downloaded . . .
Obviously I've been tempted by this since the English release was announced. My plan was to buy a copy when I get Shen a Switch and a copy for her birthday. It didn't seem particularly urgent while I didn't have proper home internet or free time. But my new colleague Matty is a Monhan fan and we've been talking about playing together. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to play using my Japanese game, plus it was on sale, and Shen was here with an American debit card I could use . . .
I was a little nervous at first that buying it American would stop me transferring my EU 3DS save file but . . . it worked. Now Lilly the Longsword User lives again!
So I'mma spend another couple hundred hours of this game I already played to death on 3DS and then Switch (plus I'll probably make a third character when I play with Shen).
Sorry, anyone who wants me to play other stuff.

After seeing all the Iceborne stuff my plan was to return to MHGU and try my hand at soloing the G rank guild quests but I got sucked back into MH world and going for the remaining gold monster crowns instead.

I just properly watched the Iceborne trailer for the first time. It looks so sick. It also comes out right before my birthday . . . And I should have gone internet by then . . . And I'll probably get a bonus between now and then . . .

Think you'd like it more than I do Mas. It's basically a walking simulator with music bits.

Double post.
In fact Devolver digital have a sale on for all their switch games with most being 10 quid or less, so there's bound to be a bunch in there that are worth a look.

Don't be so flippant Jas, double posts are a serious offence. (Apart from in music or cricket threads.)
Waiting for reviews et al. on Gato. It definitely has my attention, even if it still sounds a bit bobbins music-wise.
