| Sounds like they went to see fireworks and played Mario Kart when they got back along with having a few drinks, which Drunka had as well even though he says It is hard being the sober one. |

| I cannot imagine any situation ever where Drunka is the sober one. |

| I was the sober one quite often when I had a car. And I'm often "the sober one" in the sense that I can handle considerably more alcohol than my peers. |

| Ah. Drunkenness in the past leading to sobriety in the present. Which presumably would cause... uncomfortably caffeinated twitchyness in the future? |

| I just realised I wasn't even subscribed to you yet. I'm your fiftieth subscriber, so that's a fun milestone! As for your video, I genuinely thought you were letting the party fever take hold and you were about to down that chanmery at the end there. Did you scan the QR code on that competition thing on the vegetable drink bottle? Also, your run-in with beehive... that was a close one! |

| not scanned the code yet, forgot all about it.
I was planning to chug the chanmery and play drinking from the bottle but i realised it was quite nice and id rather enjoy it. |

| It looked decent! It does some odd having a faux-alcoholic style drink marketed to children with Pokémon branding, mind you. |

| Drinking culture is huge in Japan, so I can see the need for a drink that lets kids join in with toasts and stuff at big meals or what have you. |

Kinda like a shandy then, albeit with literally zero alcohol as opposed to a tiny amount. |

| I've seen Drunka talk about this Cola a few times and the other day I saw it was on offer in work for a 750ml bottle, why not give an ago especially the day doing all my Xmas shopping, now I've had three of them since. Got to say Drunka was right and it is top notch even though it does sort of taste like JD and Coke without the JD. Which got me to try Which was on offer and being a much smaller bottle I could even have on lunch at work and be called a hipster, wel I got to say it wasn't nice. I don;t know if thats because of most the fever tree range is mixers that his is meant to be with the JD but it in the ranger with the ginger beer, lemonade etc not the tonic water. |

| Fever Tree Tonic is quality, but I haven't tried the cola. It wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't quite as good, because (as you say) they specialise in mixers. I think I've tried their ginger ale, and remember liking that.
Fentiman's are odd, in that I seem to like them much less than everybody else I know. They're a'right. |

| Big fan of Fentimans Cola, the best cola on the market for my money. I had this lager selection last night. The correct ranking for these from best to worst is: Tuborg Holsten Pils Kingfisher Stella Artois Kingfisher may have gained a place had I drank it alongside a Curry but Stella will always be the bottom of the barrel. | Anything with ginger beer/ale in gets a from . I had book club yesterday, and the book was terrible, so drinks were pretty much a given. this space for rent On the left is cherry bakewell vodka, and it is meh with a side of muh. Too cloying to drink with lemonade, not quite sweet enough to go well with soda water. Not really a fan. On the right we have The Don. A gin so smooth it made a gin-drinker out of The Lady, who was previously a gin-hater. A pain to get hold of, I drank it first on holiday in the Lake District and had to then order it from The Whiskey Exchange, but it's an absolute belter and recommended for anyone if you can get your hands on it. |

| I'm really not a fan of gin, but I've not had what I'd imagine to be proper gin, which that bottle certainly seems to be! |

| I'd say that more so than some spirits, the quality of gin makes a big difference. Cheaper gin has much more of a bitter kick to it, which can be good if you like that sort of thing but usually isn't. The tonic matters to a lesser extent, but I've found Schweppes to be fine. |

| I think my issue is that I'm not a fan in the least of tonic water - too bitter for my tastes. I've not minded gin when it's been washed down with lemonade. |
