I forgot to commend this at the time - excellent stuff from the Smurf.

I feel there is a super obvious track for today but I'm going for an odd one as I've not played the game (Only ever watched a let play with fan translation because we didn't get the game in English) and the bit of track that gets stuck in my head could also been used for nostalgia day.

Certainly isn't Kojima the one I thought someone may have done by now or will do, it's a tad more Russian.

My mind went here instead, which I know is not actually Rusian.
My actual answer is this banger, which was really badly stuck in my head for like a solid month after I finished the game.

Day 25: Music that gets you pumped
I'll do a lil catch up later but for now I'm gonna get hyped with the song which first introduced me to one of the best games ever and has me itching to play it every time.
I remember first seeing Melee through a NGCTV DVD where they had 3 player battle on Corneria which I think went down to the wire, ever since when I would play this stage I'd always feel like I'm part of some epic battle.
Last time it was...:
The Gym Leader battle music from Sword/Shield that got me pumped, the whole spectacle of the Gym battles in the game were one of my favourite parts, the way it builds as the battle progresses is just excellent too.

Both excellent choices there Treesmurf, though I was wondering if I would have been able to squeeze a Melee piece into the 'music that makes you nostalgic' day (this one to be exact).
Day 25: Music that gets you pumped
I was going to use the Cornered music from the original Ace Attorney, but since Jay used that already I will settle with the iteration from its sequel, Ace Attorney: Justice for All. It's not as iconic or pumpy, but in context it still gets you going!

For today the first thing I thought off was from a movie based on a game which clearly isn't allowed but I found almost the same track from the Mega CD version of the game
And the movie one if you want to compare

24:
Policenauts starts really well, I'll give you that! Got nothing on Dschinghis Khan, mind.
Yep, can absolutely see Edge of Dawn would get stuck in your head. Lost In Thoughts got stuck in mine despite me never having played the game...
25:
I... don't actually like that version of Corneria that much? I turn it right down so that the better Corneria can play. The Gym theme's an absolute banger though! I imagine a certain bald forumite might have been considering it... Although it just brings this to mind these days.
Any Pursuit theme is a good time! This is... not my favourite though. I do feel for you though Rum, Jay nicking the top pick. Could have gone for this, though.
Mas' pick definitely gets the blood flowing too (appropriate for the game). I'm confused though, is it actually in the Mega CD version? The track description talks about it being a 'mix'...
This week's easy, isn't it? Just pick a tune with a heavy bass...
Sue me, I get pumped by different things to most (and that sentence makes me very glad we don't have a No Context Thread). This isn't about pounding bass: this is about orchestral swells, a soaring melody, and the context of fighting to bring back the dawn!
Yes I nicked a final boss theme. No I don't have any regrets. There are other great final boss picks, but none of them get me pumped in the same way as this. Runner-up was that piece from Xenoblade X that I always bang on about.

I had a few I wanted to use today, but I think this banger is the one which is most "me".
Thumping dance hotness in a Pokémon-based fighting game, on a boat celebrating the one and only Magikarp. This shit is HYPE.

Got a lot of time for Afterburner! Most Bayo tracks have bounced off me, at least in part due to the lyrics. That doesn't have any. Top stuff.

Cappa you wee shite! I was going to use Bayonetta for the end credits day with this ridiculous cheesy tune:
Magikarp Festival is a banger that I had totally forgotten about. Very pumpy!
Balla: I could have gone for that, but I haven't played T&T, so honestly it doesn't really have the same heart-pounding association... yet.

Argh I need to catch up but I really do mean to go through everyone's picks this week at some point!
For now, here's my choices from the days I've missed!
Day 18: Music From The Year You Were Born:
I've not actually played Secret of Mana, but all the other games I would have chosen from 1993 were already used! This is a fine wee tune though and is a lovely opening theme for a classic in the eyes of many.
Day 19: Covers:
Cosy vibes.
Day 20: Racing Games:
MORE SAX, MORE F-ZERO TRACKS PLEASE
Day 21: Frustration:
I suck at Super Hexagon. I heard the beginning of that track so many times. So much frustration.
Day 22: Town Themes:
Yes, yes, I spotted Smurf already busted out HG/SS, but I've got a reason for using the OG soundtrack. It's purely based on nostalgic preferences, but there's something about the chirpy Gameboy sounds that speak to me in a way that the technically "better" HG/SS soundtrack doesn't.
Day 23: Underrated Tunes:
In a series where people will usually point at the excellent Pursuit themes from AA1 or AA3, nobody talks about Edgeworth's absolute bop. This is what plays in his head whenever he updates the autopsy report in the main series, natch.
Day 24: Music That's Stuck In Your Head:
Unsurprisingly considering how long I've spent with it, I've gone for an FFXIV track. Mercifully, it's one of the better tracks in the game but I've genuinely been doing something totally unrelated and just suddenly found myself singing "la HEE *gibberish* LA HEE" or what have you. I've found myself whistling along with the wind instruments. I love the vibe of this area big time. I think once we're done with this music project, I'll be doing a big ol' FFXIV series in the Nontendo thread. That game's soundtrack is heavily praised for its soundtrack, and rightfully so.
Day 25: Music That Gets You Pumped:
IT'S TIME TO KICK SOME DEMON ASS HELL YEAH

Stuck in the head:
The World of Illusion tune is chirpy enough but this was my first time hearing so it didn't do much.
Cappa's Banjo tune was a good'n, I've definitely had those tracks stuck in my head before.
That Cuphead one was a bit of fun.
The MBN one had real nice vibes but nothing I could latch onto get into my head.
The Policenauts opening is an all-timer, you gotta hand it to Mas on that one.
Jay's FF track was not what I was expecting but is absolutely gorgeous.
Okay, now for the real shit . . .
P-P-P-PUMPAGE:
Okay, yeah, that Smash Bros Corneria is a good-ass bit of music. It takes me back to a very specific time and place, makes me excited for Smash Bros, Pizza and Coca Cola in the living room with my pals.
Cornered Music is always tense and exciting as al shit . . . JfA isn't my favourite by any stretch, but I don't think there's a bad track in the whole AA series . . .
Both Mortal Kombat themes are all time club banger hot tip top ship shape sex on the beach melt your face mad lad party sesh world class series A deluxe pumpalicious funkalicious dunkalicious knee-slapping clap tracks.
"Oooh, I'm Balla, I'm not like other girls". That Okami track is a good'n though, to be fair.
Balla remins completely ad utterly wrong about Bayonetta music, but Cappa at least is on the money. That's some business right there.
Jay's Devil May Cry one is a bit busy but I can imagine pumpage in the moment.
Balladeer wrote:

That was also on the short list, along with Suicide Mission from Mass Effect 2. I was saving that for "last level", which I now realise is not a day.

Day 26: Music You Like From A Game You Haven't Played
Slightly cheating, as a couple of years ago I did play a few hours of Skyrim on Switch. Still, for many years before that I did hear this song and knoweth that it was good.

MOOOOOOOOOOOYLES
MOYLES:
I thought that SoM tune was going to be noises à la that Digimon game you keep subjecting us to. Fortunately it morphed into a very nice intro tune! Up there with the FF Prelude, that one.
Acoustic guitar. I get lonely over cosy?
About time Mario Kart 8 showed up! That's not actually my favourite tune from it (or my favourite remix of Big Blue), but that's just a testament to the game's fantastic soundtrack.
Oh look/listen, it's what Skynet thinks humans should listen to as gaming music. I get the frustration, but this was not a fun time for my ears.
Classic 'progressing on your journey' tune, that. I think a lot of those musics work better, for us old farts anyway, on the original systems, just because that was the time we were actually progressing on a journey rather than retreading one!
It's a Pursuit theme. Of course it's good.
Peak Moyles outside picking Mother 3 or TWEWY, but that's a properly beautiful and sweeping tune. My fave of the ones you posted yesterday.
Slow start, a pretty nice build-up, and then... urgh. Sorry, not for me, not this time.
Otherwise we have: Dovakhin, which even I know as a belter despite being in the same boat as Buska re. Skyrim; the most traumatised woman in the world, which adds a dark edge to Mas' otherwise twee bop; and Rum dunking on someone for sniping him. Of all people. Rum.
I've never played a Sonic game, but thanks to the Smash games I've been able to enjoy some of the best (and worst) of the series! There are a couple of really good cheery orchestral pieces in there. Here's one! Absolutely cheery goodness. I especially like the strings and sax when the main theme comes back for the first time, and the change at 2:34. Lovely stuff from the hedgehog.
Competitors for today included Normal Battle from Pokémon Conquest and the previously-mentioned Lost in Thoughts All Alone.

I could have used Sonic Lost World a few times over the course of this challenge. It's a deeply flawed game, but the soundtrack is unreal.
~
Day 26: Music You Like From A Game You Haven't Played
This is the only thing I could think of, the theme from the opening level of Zero Wing on the Mega Drive.
Listen to it with a bit of volume. Mega Drive SHMUPS have mostly excellent music and this is a cracking example of that.
