| Not checking through the rest of the thread to see if it's been brought up, but the period after the seventh gym is probably one of the worst pieces of games design I've come across for some time, to the point of having to check the box to see that this really was a Nintendo game I was playing.
Millions of trainers to fight (a few of which appear out of nowhere when you think you're done), including two changes of location, but no escalation in wild pokémon to grind with, and worse, the highest-level area accessible to you is a poxy "ride-a-pokémon" bit where it takes forever to go anywhere, never mind beat up enough wild 'mon to level.
Also, high five to the people charged with having to link the gameplay and the story, bigging up the legendary as some mega-strong supermon only for Lysandre to come along and one-shot it due to being one level higher and having a type advantage. |

| I didn't have a problem there, possibly because my monsters were hideously overlevelled already. Thanks Exp. Share. Also the monster-riding bits were awful, apart from the Skiddos. |

| Only Ryhorn was slow to me. And yeah I had no trouble on that route either..
Now I'm currently deciding if I should trade my Pokebank Celebi for my second favorite Pokemon a Shiny Latias |

| I'm currently in victory road on this, it's took an awfully long time, I'm starting to think this might be my lot with Pokemon, that or this just isn't up to standard which I'm starting to think after reading through Beemoh's post. This could also just be a transitional period as well though like lots of series suffer from when making big changes. |

So the first Attraction on the Global Link sit has been announced. This is a few days sold, but I don't remember seeing it upthread.
Also, has anyone else got a blue notification marker on their Home Screen for this? |

| The advantage, as I understand it, is easy transfer from Gen IV and V to Gen VI games. Well, my DS steadfastly refuses to go on the Internet. So it's a 'no' from me. |

| Gen 4 still has to go through the Poketransporter thing in Gen 5 to get to gen 6 but otherwise yeah it's a simple transfer tool |

| I've not downloaded the bank yet but what your saying I can transfer from B/W & B/W2 easy but I've I wanted to get Mon's from Diamond I would have to transfer them to a B/W then to X/Y.
So what would the be earliest you could trade from would it be Fire Red / Leaf Green. |

| Thought so but I was thinking in gen terms, I might have to maybe hunt down some older Mon's and a old DS. |

| Downloaded Pokemon Bank, put all of my Pokemon from Y in it, and then restarted Y. And moved a couple of Pokemon back from the Bank to my new version for my new team. I can keep my Pokemon and do multiple playthroughs - ideal for me! |

| It's just a shame you can't keep items. Means that you have to find the mega stones all over again, for example. |

| Can they not hold items in the bank? That sucks... @Mas, be very suspicious when buying the gba pokemon games. There's a lot of fakes about... |
