In terms of the game, England should have had that sealed up nicely in the first half as they were all over Croatia, but fair fucks to the Croatians for coming back and winning it over extra time. I've got to go with France for the final, but I'd love to see Croatia win it - would be smashing to see a new holder of the World Cup rather than the same half a dozen teams.

Got to support France too, just to see somebody who isn't Cappa change Cappa's username.

Congrats to Jimbob France for winning the World Cup! That final was a cracking watch full of drama, controversy and a few cracking goals. Fair fucks to Croatia for their effort too, mind - they were looking like the better team in the first half.

Mr. Cappuccino, that's very kind of you with the WiiU/3DS code, but I think I will also have to decline that offer, as I am letting the side down. Like France's team being made up of Frenchmen with families of many different ethnic/national backgrounds, but coming together as one multicultural family, I would happily open the... borders... of this victory... to another... username.


Sorry y'all - when this prize was announced, I thought it was a funny idea for 30 seconds until I realised I couldn't think of a funny user name for Mr. Phillips, or anyone else in fact.

If you really don't want the pressure Mr. Jim, perhaps we could all MP you name ideas, and you pick the one you like the most after checking first with Cappa? That way it's anonymised to a degree, and you don't have to think up anything.

That could be a shout if you're struggling, Jim. I was stumped for a serious name choice beyond joking about JRPG nonsense.

Up to Jimbob what he does, but to be honest I was hoping for better than JRPG nonsense.

My thinking was if Mexico won, I'd go with Little Juan or El Nombre, so I think we should give Cappa something French. Unfortunately, my knowledge of France goes about as far as Les Miserables, so I can only suggest Jean Valjean or Jalvert.
