| What's happened to the Andyman segment? It's the only reason I listen nowadays! What I didn't mention in my comment is that I actually think 'Puff is quite bobbins. A fairly boring pink blob compared to Clefairy and its Metronome shenanigans. That said, another Pokémon evolving into a rabbity thing using a Moonstone I see...
Zubat is widely loathed, and for good reason. While its design is unremarkable, surely there's no Pokémon we're more sick of the sight of? (Unless it's Pikachu.) Golbat at least is good for exp. late-main game, and has a faint vampire shtick going on (as well as some utterly horrifying spritework); Crobat is blisteringly fast and amusingly throwing star-like at times; but Zubat is just a big old pile of bum.
Oddish is unremarkable, and I started off with Blue anyway, making it more so. Gloom is appropriately disgusting, given that it's a proto-rafflesia: compare/contrast Vileplume, who's just too adorable for what it is. Bellossom was saved from an original faintly problematic design (see beta design), and just became ignorable instead. |

| I suppose Zubat is like the warm old slippers you can come home to after a hard day's graft, the same slippers that fall off about 6 times on the way to the kitchen.

| Genuinely the funniest one yet in my opinion. Ricey boy on top of his game too. Paras is a cute little bug with features mimicking those of real-life parasites. It's pretty good, and not just for Spore/False Swipe shenanigans. Then you get Parasect, which is the stuff of nightmares the moment you think about it too hard. |

| Oddish.
Andy might be a rude, naughty man who needs editing but James J Moyles is a good, pure boy who makes this possibly my favourite episode yet. |

| Get that boy a Hoppip, stat.! It's the Oddish he deserved!
Venonat is purple and fuzzy and one of the cuter bugs. Venomoth exists. |

Ah, cheers dude! It was a pleasure contributing to the show. I'll try and remember to get a snap of my Oddish next time I'm at my mum's to post in the thread. - Balladeer wrote:

I do like Hoppip! I'd like to think that Game Freak were taking a drive through Dunfermline one day in the early 2000s and had a sudden rush of inspiration. |

| Diglett! I have immense levels of nostalgia for Diglett, even if, looked at objectively, it's a bobbins design. Still, I would always grab one in Diglett Cave, if nothing else to outspeed Lt. Surge's 'Mons. It was better than Geodude, that's for damn sure. Dugtrio is the kind of evolution that somebody cooked up in five minutes before lunch. Alolan Dugtrio, though, is entertainingly ridiculous. Wouldn't burrowing through the ground get dirt in its gorgeous metal hair? Who cares, I'm just jealous of it. We all are really. Even you, Luke. I'm hoping Ricey Boy can tell us exactly what the underside of a Diglett looks like. I'm looking forward to that. |

| Venonat
Also, some Detective Pikachu first impressions right at the end there.
I'm thinking of doing a little special about Let's Go next week, if any forumites who are planning to buy it would be up for hopping on skype with me? |

| Not a bad job, given what you had to work with. Still think Venonat's cute though. Perhaps I should have mentioned something about competitive Venomoth and Quiver Dance? - You may or may not appreciate these minor nitpicks:
Fuchsia City is pronounced 'FYOO-sha', like the flower; and weirdly, it's Sabrina who had the Venomoth. I know, right?
I prefer the original Meowth line. Meowth itself looks eager for coins, while Persian looks chilled without having a stupid round face. Would still definitely squish Alolan Persian's chubby cheeks though. |

| I think I did actually know that about Fuscisia but my tongue doesn't listen to my brain.
Anyway, far more interesting: Diglett.
Andy gets close to making a good and valuable point about trans rights. . . and then doesn't.
In other news, I've been invited to some sort of Pokemon podcasting league so interesting stuff and cross-promotion may be happening. |

| You need to speak up, Andy! Could barely hear you. 'The mole who whacks back' is a great line. I'm sad that we did the Venonat episode before I got PLGE. It's (a) surprisingly huge and (b) chuffing adorable. It pretty much dances after you. I have one on my team for basically that reason alone at the moment. I'll listen to what other people have to say about Psyduck, I think. Honestly don't have much to say, other than a 'golden duck' is a cricket term. |

| Yeah, Andy was real quiet and I couldn't crank him up without getting a bunch of background noise. That said, I messed up by not lowering the background music enough. |
