It didn't seem as widespread for wii U but then maybe I was too busy playing mine to care. |

| As much as I like buying shiny new consoles, I've a feeling this won't get bought by me for some time. Mainly because I have so many unplayed games across the 360/Vita/PS3/3DS. |

| Same here. I'll no doubt pick up a PS4 at some point down the line, but a few factors have put me off so far. Mostly the unexciting launch (Jim Sterling summed up how I feel *very well* when he said the Wii U evoked a sense of wonder, whereas PS4/XBO reiterate what we've seen before) and launch lineup, as well as the fact I'd rather have £349 today than lose it now.
But the biggest factor to me holding me back from PS4 and XBO is how western-centric both platforms are. Until I see Japanese developers announce some wares and put their weight behind the platforms I'm out. |

| I will see you on it, is she getting the season pass for it.
Yes there is a season pass it unlocks the online horde type co-op mode, so dlc maps for multi player will be free but theextra mode you have pay for. |

Hopefully something gets announced, I have a feeling there will be a few multiplatform PS4/XBO games, judging from an investor's meeting with Iwata (http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2013-11-06-nintendo-no-financial-encouragement-for-third-party-wii-u-support), where a question was asked "that referred to "another company" that planned to invest "tens of billions of Yen" into gathering third-party support for its hardware."That's obviously Microsoft the question is referring to (Sony simply don't have the cash to do that, and they don't even need to do it anyway), and unless they've spent a lot of money it's safe to assume these deals aren't for exclusive games. But I guess we'll have to wait and see. |

| Wow I love this console. I can't believe how much I do but I really do! Killzone is even better than I expected, the UI is somehow better than the Xbox Ones and the buttons are just wonderful to press. I am absolutely shocked at how fun Resogun is as well. I expected to try it once and then throw it away but I'm hooked! Can't wait to play more PS4 tomorrow! |

As much as I'd like to get one (always love getting consoles on day of release) I'm going to wait a bit for the PS4. I still have plenty of unplayed games across other formats which take priority at the moment. |

| I'm rooting for Sony from the sidelines this time. The fact that my Wii U and PS3 hardly ever get turned on is my reason for holding back, as I really am a handheld gamer and have been pretty much since the GameCube era came to an end. |

| I've got my PS4 now but i'm not allowed to open it until Xmas!! Jeez, the box is enormous! I got the players edition...with killzone, extra controller and camera in the box and also 12 months PS+ The camera seems a bit of a spurious addition at the moment but hopefully they'll do something interesting with it in the near future. Is there anything it is actually any use for, right now? |

| I thought box was small,
The camera at the moment can be used on the free download playroom, voice commands like ps4 play resogun, and to have your face appear on live streaming via twitch for instance. And the odd game like just dance. |

| Hmm it seemed smaller, I guess the extra controller and camera (size of a twix) makes the box little big then my killzone edition box. But from your pic it still looks thinner then the other's. |

| yeah, its a little thinner, 10mm or so. Doesn't really matter though, it'll be in the loft as soon as the console has been set up under the TV cheers for the info on the camera, btw. You think it'll get its own killer title at some point? |

| Doubt it, Kinect still hasn't got one well Dance Central but not really a gamers game. I can see it be using in Mass Effect 4 or something like kinect did with 3 by using voice commands. But you can do all the voice commands on the PS4 with the packed in headset, so it wouldn't really be needed for that. |
