Yeah, but he probably had a horrible upbringing. Parents making him walk since the age of a half, dance since the age of 1.5. And he'll always be "the dancing kid on that show" years from now, when he's trying to do something with his life/chat up attractive people/both.

That was nice to watch. Sort of feels like Nintendo should be putting stuff like that out themselves though.

Lot's of interesting looking games in that video, there especially seems to be a lot of Metroid-like games on the way too.

(The castle game looks like it'll be an cool wee strategy game in the same mold as Rampart on NES.)

EDIT: for the sake of balance there's a lot of shite looking flash-esque games in there as well.

It's a lovely idea, but I wish he'd exercise some minimum expected quality requirements over what made it in. At 2:26, for example, there's a game that reminds me of the Unity asset flips that Jim Sterling always loses his rag about. At 2:59, there's what appears to be the most juddery racing game ever. And at 3:15, there's a puzzle game that makes Candy Crush look like the height of innovation.

Look, I love the Wii U. I want to watch the rest of this video (don't have time tonight) and be excited by what's on offer. But I've seen too much dross in the first three minutes (which have already featured possibly The Two Big Remaining Games) to be too excited by his premise. I'd much rather have a much shorter video featuring "twenty potential future classics", if that many exist.

It was rather long but I think there just pointing out loads still coming even if the quality of most look rather poor.

Maybe they should of done a top 50 or something instead.

Now that you mention it I don't remember seeing Rive in there which I'm super excited for & I had a wee laugh to myself when 90s arcade racer popped up which I'm pretty sure was in wii U launch reel.

My not sure, I saw bloodstained either.

Rive was great at EGX, the director I met working on it was a really nice chap.

I'd agree that's what I'd prefer if I wanted a video to show someone what there is to be excited about, but this video was very explicitly about showing everything.
