Pokemon Conquest has a few surprisingly likable tracks, imo.
Also, Electric Battle, Psychic Battle.

Normal Battle, maybe surprisingly, is kinda amazing. The others are all pretty good, to varying levels. I give it YOOOOOOOOOO!!!/10.

Stu's victory is complete. I've played KEY, I've loved it (apart from the minigames), and I've completed it. And having done so, nothing comes close to this particular song. It's joyful and epic at the same time. Tell me I'm wrong, Stu!

I'd endorse any track from Kirby's Epic Yarn, though oddly enough, the 'Christmas' tracks from Snow Land seemed to resonate with me the most. Coming from an self-confessed Christmaphobic, that's some achievement.

I found this chap thanks to Grant Kirkhope himself retweeting one of his vids.
Wind Waker title theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9XAveg-vYM
My favourite was the Luigi's Mansion theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XNW9fFXKeM

What the great googly moogly was that Luigi's Mansion video? That was awesome! Those piano skills man! Definitely going to be following that guy from now on.

Balladeer's "Smell Ya Later!" Music Week 36: The Road to Cerulean City (Routes 3-9 and 22), Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQZPGtFMijs
It's weird, how GB music has stood the test of time (although it now sounds a tad sparse) while GBA music, in general, hasn't. This week I looked at both the original and FRLG versions of the music, and I think that the 8-bit music is largely much better.
Anyhoo, this music gives you the first feeling of really setting off on an adventure, as you forge a trail out into the uncharted realms east of Pewter. Uncharted, of course, except for certain people who seem to have nothing better to do than sit around there all day, talking about their shorts. Other classics include: The bike theme: wheeeeee! Lavender Town: brrrrrr! A Wild Rival Approaches: aaaaaargh!
Any RBY classics I've missed?

(looks smug)
I can't have been the only person with something to say about the music in the original Pokémon games, surely? Discussion is good! Whatever, from creatures in balls to monkeys in balls:
Balladeer's Rolling Simian Music Week 37: Monkey Race Expert Track, Super Monkey Ball 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bERZPI0PqxU
Monkey Race 2 was the best minigame in SMB2, and if you disagree you're a numpty. Best of all was this music, well suited to the outer space and underwater tracks. This picture... isn't actually of Monkey Race 2 at all, but it includes the underwater background used also on Submarine Street.
So... yeah, maybe not so much discussion this week. I dunno, did anyone else play this one as much as I did? Or did you all get to Launchers and throw it out of the window in disgust?

This is easily my favourite track from Super Monkey Ball 2:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1P9_980qxdU
I can't believe nobody on YouTube has uploaded the actual video with the lyrics. First time I saw this, I was playing with friends and we were all roaring with laughter by the end of it. That's probably a first for a track in a videogame for me.

The weather report from Little Inferno
I would have finished this game months ago if it wasn't for the fact I stop and listen to the music every time I get a weather report. One of the most divisive games in ages, I don't think it can be denied that it is a brilliantly unique experience, and a great deal of fun. Really, the only debate is whether you can forgive the price. Phoenix Wright cornered I can't believe more of you haven't posted AA music. The orchestral CD that was floating around a while back was absolutely amazing, but when you're in the moment it all sounds like that. The only problem is choosing which tune . . .
Balladeer wrote:
Lavender Town: brrrrrr!
Thanks for that. Evening- ruined. I would say something about the Pokémon R/B music but, perhaps more so than any other game, its just too tainted by nostalgia. It all sounds amazing!

Stu: One of my favourite NGamer quotes was, "Monkey see, monkey do, magic spell is ai ai poo." I agree that the absence of lyrics is a disgrace! (By the way, I probably won't do an SMB1 week because I can't remember any of the music, so if there's anything you really think I've missed out from there, now's the time to tell me.)
Buska: In my defence, I haven't played a Phoenix Wright game. That's... not really a defence, is it? But I'm waiting for the compilation to be released on iOS.
Still, I know that music regardless. The Weather Balloon music feels... cold and empty, as I'm sure was intended. And I'm sorry about Lavender Town: let me cheer you up with something happier!
Huh... That link appears to have met with a terrible fate...

Balladeer's Retro Racing Music Week 38: Rainbow Road, Super Mario Kart: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSrYFhISoG4
From one racing tune to another. I never actually played the original, much-lauded by the so-called "hardcore" SMK, but MKs 3, 5, 6 and 7 have all contained SNES tracks, and I can only remember one tune from any of them. That would be this. It only gets going from 0:26, but it's pretty nice from thereon in. It's far from the best Rainbow Road tune in the series, but I'll save that for another week.

I can't recall much from SMB1 apart from: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbtzfumF8B8
Monkey Billiards! Me and my cousin spent endless lazy Sundays playing Monkey Billiards, back in the day.
The weather report music from Little Inferno is fittingly desolate. It suited the mood of the game perfectly.

I hate you. Come to think of it, it was the thread on the old forum that first introduced me to creepypasta as a "thing." I remember it pretty well; I was living on a friend's sofa at the time, and I was on my laptop in the middle of the day when everyone I knew was at work and reading/ watching Ben and getting so super creeped out I had to go to Starbucks just to be around other people. But walking into the hall and down the stairs was terrifying. (I realise this makes me sound like a right wimp. I'd like to take this moment to tell everyone I'm super well 'ard, its just ghosts and that which bother me. I've faced down knife-wielding nutters as a matter of course, and anyone who says otherwise should meet me behind the bike sheds during lunch and I'll give them a kicking. And my dad can beat up their dad.)
Anyone, to get back on topic; Majora's mask has some super creepy music.

Balla: I do believe that Majora's Mask music posted is Skull Kid's theme, so it pops up frequently.
Creepy Nintendo music you say?
Made creepier by the implications of this boss battle.

Wait, how did we go from "Retro Racing Music Week" to "Brickshit Terrifying Music Week"? Oh well. I'll make my contribution:
Maybe not as creepy as some, but when I was playing SM64 for the first time at age 7, this terrified me.

I love that quiver of fear that comes into his voice throughout the first track. So Luigi. The second track is somehow creepier than the first. I remember always being really on edge when walking through lit rooms because of that track.
