Still got to consider getting Phogs. Still got to play more Stretchers first.
I'm not sure about Narita Boy. It definitely hits the 80s nostalgia beats, but I wonder how much it relies on them. I didn't live in the 80s, so they won't mean much for me. Depends on what the game's like when it's not rolling around naked in SCART cables, I guess. It still looked interesting!
I'd really like to pick up Tadpole Treble, but it's not available outside the States yet.

Balla didn't vote Brexit to go around importing videogames and spending his money in a way that doesn't support the Great British Pound.

That's right, I voted for it so that my offshore assets would increase in value in Britain. (This was genuinely an ex-colleague's reasoning. )
Eh, don't you need a US credit card to access the US eShop? I don't have one of those. Also they're working to get it released outside the US, and my wishlist's full enough as is. I can hang on for now.

No, just buy an American or whatever county you wish gift card from Amazon or somewhere.
Why regions aren't a thing really any more unless you want cool physical versions or can't read Japanese and have to wait for Gnosia to get an English release.

Changing regions is still a faff, even if a very minor one

Not really just make more accounts for different regions

It'd only be slotting into the seventh place on my wishlist. I've got enough to be getting on with for now without that very minor faff! (Including two huge JRPGs and Dragon's Dogman...)

Colour me surprised then! It's the ear-and-eye-grating quality combined with the 'LOLrandom' style of visuals that I'm surprised anyone could get over, apart from the sort of people who still think 'I can haz cheezburger' is funny; but you two are both funnier than me so I've clearly missed something!

Death Ray Manta SE is 90% off at 99p, and I've been enjoying it these last couple of days:
It's a pretty straightforward twin-stick shooter, but it handles nicely, and is elevated by it's synth soundtrack and colourful neon graphics. At under a pound, it's good stuff

Fuck it, go on then. In fact, I had some points as well so I spent a grand total of 31p. That'll do nicely for a twin stick shooter I'll have one or two fun afternoons on and then forget about.

Also I never played the original on SNES but a new Pocky & Rocky is happening and it looks very good.
The team developing this did an outstanding job with Wild Guns: Reloaded and Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors - they're low-key two of the best retro remasters that have ever been made. I've never played the original Pocky & Rocky on the SNES either, but I'm very much looking forward to it based on the developer alone.
