I'd forgotten about this thread but it sprang back to mind following the latest news about BrewDog. Scandal is never far away from BrewDog, with all sorts of accusations of stealing marketing ideas from unsuccessful interviewees without crediting them, diluting the craft beer scene with gimmicky shite and reports of inappropriate behaviour from their CEOs. I think BBC Scotland broadcast a documentary about that, it might be floating about iPlayer if you're arsed.

They're in the news today because they're not paying their workers fairly - that's pish right enough. It reminded me of this though, something that I well and truly know for sure will be utter dug meat:



Hoooooooooly God. A BrewDog film. I can't think of a worse idea for a film than one about the origins of BrewDog. That's going to be the most up-his-own-arse and pretentious bollocks going.

I used to like Brewdog - back in 2009, I remember ordering a couple of crates from them back when they weren't in supermarkets and you had to chuck in a mail order to get beer from them. But aye, the top brass there have proven themselves to be a shower of cunts and I actively avoid the stuff when I'm buying beers nowadays.

It's unfortunate since they do about the only beer I'll happily guzzle in high quantities - Layer Cake, a horribly sweet chocolate and marshmallow stout. Not drinking that now, natch. BrewDog are the UbiSoft of the beer world.
