| Surely you would have 10 Hitmonlee's and Machamp in Goal. |

| But dash was just an idiotic idea from the start. Most pokemon spin offs are competently made, and football games are already something that works. Best case scenario; they do a pokemon conquest and actually cross over with FIFA, so you have Chelsea signing a Snorlax for goal and Bayern Munich getting its Voltorbs to self destruct and demand a penalty every time another pokemon brushes against them. |

| I think you mean worst-case scenario! Not entirely seriously, but from my point of view, the more crossovers it has with real football, the more likely I am to fall asleep. I suppose the idea would be to have Arsene Wenger captaining a team of Pokémonsters? (I'd have Mr. Mime in goal personally. Never played Barrier Ball, Mas? Plus he'd be able to scare the penalty-taker with his bizarre face.) But even then I'd rather have spiky-haired anime dude number 17.
Of course, it would be quite funny if they made Arsene Wenger into spiky-haired anime dude number 17... |

| I wouldn't have any humans on the pitch, I just thought it would be fun to have teams and tournaments from real world football. |

| Wenger is a manager not a player, so he won't be captaining. Ohh know not played barrier ball or whatever it is and what's with number 17. |

| The football terms don't matter that much (or indeed at all) to me. And this is Barrier Ball.
I can see having the real teams working, but I'd rather go for the national scale. You'd have to have Hitmontop playing for Brazil, of course. |

Yes. And... Hitmonlee just behind Rayquaza as your Heskey-esque centre forwards I need to think about this. *pause* I don't need to think about this. |

Oh, too slow again beemotron! Thinking about this way too much. Might have to go away and put together a team. (Of course, Spurs would be a team of Chanseys at the moment; no defence). |

| This is the most interested I've been in football in a long time (apart from realistic Geodude who is terrifying). I'm thinking Galvantula somewhere in midfield: high speed, and Sticky Web/Electroweb to muck up foes' speed.
If Spurs are all Chanseys, does that make Man. U a bunch of Sunkerns? |

| There is a joke this thread is waiting for, portraying a team as eleven Magikarps.
For my own personal amusement, I'm going to say it's Manchester City and sit back and watch the carnage. |

The player it's taking off isn't much less terrifying, to be honest. |

Do they look like a bunch of magikarps Also Mario Balotelli is a legend, mainly for this and having his own song “Oh Balotelli he’s a striker… He’s good at darts. He’s allergic to grass, but when he plays he’s f'ing class. Drives round Moss Side with a wallet full of cash, Can’t put on his vest But when he does he is the best. Goes into schools, tells teachers all the rules. Sets fire to his gaff with rockets from his bath. Doesn’t give a f, ‘cause he did it for a laugh, Runs back to his house For a suitcase full of cash, Oh Balotelli …” |

| That open-mouthed gawping looks pretty piscine to me. Balotelli reminds me more of this chap:

| That's better,
If you knew about balotelli he get's a lot of stick like fans of other teams in Italy shouting things like there's no such thing as a black Italian and he shouldn't play for the national team, monkey chants, bananas thrown at him etc |

| I think this shows how out of the football scene I am. And how a chap with a name like "Mario Balotelli" can "not be Italian" bewilders me. |

| He was fostered by the balotellis and didn't get citzen ship in till his 18th birthday even though he was born in Italy. He could of also played for Ghana where his birth parents were from and have that last name Barwuah.
He does plays for Italy but reckon most of the nation would be happy if he didn't. |

First the strangling thing in the Relationships thread, and now this. You've been keeping quite the dark side hidden from us. |
