| The beauty of Smash Bros strikes again, it's not a stage I was expecting to see but they've gone ahead and took the best part of Game & Wario and placed it in to this. |

| Starfox stage? Don't mind if I do... - The Orbital Gate (from Assault):
Reminds us that, nice though the 3DS version looks, this one is going to be really beautiful. |

| The 3 DS one is out in two days but I feel nothing. The Wii u one, though, fills me with so much excitement. It looks phenomenal! |

| I'm confused as to why you would feel so differently regarding the two, Drunka. Sure, the Wii U version is going to be bigger and prettier, but it's the same game with the same characters.
On the subject of which, Sakurai said today that the reason that Sheik and ZSS were separated out is because of the 3DS' hardware. First the Ice Climbers and now this... |

I'm glad they were separated out. I don't like playing as Zelda or Samus, but I like playing as Sheik and ZSS. It's less of an issue with Sheik/Zelda as a quick down B sorted that problem out, but with ZSS I had the potential to be saddled with Samus if I got a Final Smash. |

| I'm probably with you, Jay. For Zelda and Sheik, I'll take the extra attack that they both got over the clumsy mid-match transformation; for Samus, I agree with your point. The only question is whether the separations took space on the character screen that could have been used for someRIDLEYone else. |

I doubt it - Sheik and ZSS were already in the game as fully fledged fighters. I can't see that restricting any other character inclusions. |

| - Balla's spoilering this for me because he's a good Samaritan:
If talking about space then did we really need Dr. Mario? He more or less plays the same as Mario
where at least Zero suit Samus and Sheik do play kinda different. Well Zss more so then playing as Samus |

Agreed. Even with Mario's changes since SSBM, the good/bad Doctor didn't need to make an appearance. Nor did Dark Pit, for that matter.

Yeah Dark Pit is in the same boat as Mario

It's mostly becausE I think of smash bros as a game for a bunch of mates on one sofa playing together, which I don't foresee happening with the 3DS version at all. Once I get it in my hands I'll love playing it, but the day the Wii u game lands will be a huge event. |

As far as I know they will be a bit different from each other, like that smash run mode is exclusive to the 3ds version & surely wii U will have its own modes as well. |

| Are you still trying to remain ignorant, Jas? I can put all the pictures in spoilers if you like. And while the modes will be different, we don't know many/any of SSBU's, and they should have the same basics. However... - Drunkalilly wrote:

...this is completely fair. I don't actually get to play much local multiplayer Smash, but if I did, I'm sure I'd be much more up for the U version too. Right, anyone want the last post in this thread before I lock it and we move on? |
