| At the moment this is basically the 4th highest rated game of the year, Behind GTAV & Last of Us and Bioshock Infinite. |

Jesus, were they all released in this, the year of Luigi? This has been a good year! |

| Yeah also lot like 2007 which had Uncharted from Naughty Dog, Mario Galaxy, Bioshock. Also Link Between World's has been well received, 2007 we had Phantom Hourglass. |

| NintendoLife has been spoiling the - Super Mario 3D World extra:
secret fifth character
like woah, in headlines for articles and the review itself. I was seriously disappointed to see them do that. |

| Nintendo Life should know better. Like others, I don't want to see spoilers. I'll try and give it a miss for a wee while. That's how you lose hits, Nintendo Life.

| Launch trailer. Don't worry, the faces clear off after the first few seconds. Mostly before-seen stuff, but there's an appearance from what I'm naming - Power-up:
Lucky Cat Mario. Produces coins and goes Tanuki on a butt-stomp? Interesting...

| Gah, that looks so fun. Really inventive looking - although I have no idea what the opening ten seconds worth of gasping loons was about.

| It's looking amazing, hearing it's preordering well in the states I don't know if that will translate to Wii U system sales or just everyone who owns a Wii U is getting this. |

| The boxart for this game is weird. Striking, but weird. I can't think of another Nintendo example (off the top of my head) where each of the main characters is represented twice in the same piece of artwork.
(Cue storm of forumites posting images to prove me 100% wrong) |

(Cue storm of forumites posting images to prove me 100% wrong) Four times! (More seriously, does Twilight Princess count?) |

| To my surprise, I've just had an e-mail from Zavvi telling me that this has been dispatched. I'll be ecstatic if I get this on - or even before! - launch with 20% off of the RRP (I had a voucher which took it down to £31.86), but it's Zavvi, there's still room for disappointment! |

| I pre ordered this today which I won't get until Saturday (One of Nintendo Aus's other stupid things they do). Which I probably won't be playing until Monday |

Wii Play had that shooting game that sort of referenced it..... |

| I'm lucky as a friend's copy arrived today (well, yesterday), so had a bash on it this evening. Multiplayer was hectic fun, with all the new items causing laugh-out-loud moments. The piranha plant in a pot in the level with the shadows is my favourite so far.
I won't be able to properly sit down with my copy in single player for a few weeks, though, and I'm genuinely wondering whether I should keep playing through it in multiplayer or wait until I can experience it in single player in a few weeks' time.
It isn't quite the same experiencing a big release like this without the rituals involved for such big releases. |

| Just finished playing the first two worlds & it really does put a smile on yer face the level that introduces the cherry item is my favourite so far. |

| Played through the first world. Lovely little game but Mario doesn't quite play as nicely as he did in galaxy. Loved the first level where you ride the dinosaur. |

| The dinosaur level was great! I didn't expect it to work as it did in multiplayer either -- Plessie's movements are dependent on what everyone as a team does, so if everyone's doing different things or thinks different expect to mess up. A lot.
