| After briefly trying not to be spoiled in this game, the ND just spoiled it to hell and back. DON'T WATCH IS UNTIL THE END IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHO THE UNLOCKABLE CHARACTER IS! |

| Wonder if there will be any more extra characters, and how you unlock. I didn't even know the character. |

| That was certainly spoilerific but it doesn't bother me so much here because there's still going to be a million things I haven't had spoiled and also with a Mario game is all in the play. And you can only blame yourself, Shibata totally warned you. |

| I was kinda paying attention to something else why he was speaking. His voice has that effect. So much so that I almost missed the pocket Pikmin, which was worth the ND's entry price alone! |

| I listen intently to Shibata because he always says something hilarious. I wonder if anyone at Nintendo realises how funny he is? I hope not, he seems to be sincerely trying his best to represent the company, even with pikmin on him or when he's warbling out some karaoke. |

I hope they do, but don't tell him- like a really elaborate hazing for the new guy. |

| There's an Iwata Asks about this, but its spoiler filled. http://iwataasks.nintendo.com/interviews/#/wiiu/super-mario-3d-world/0/0 - Quote :
Iwata: Koizumi-san, I have to ask. What would you say to people who say that Super Mario Galaxy is better for Super Mario on a home console?
Koizumi: Well...first of all, I say thank you.
Iwata: I can understand that. Your team made it! (laughs)
Koizumi: This may not be a direct answer, but personally, when we made Super Mario Galaxy, I had regrets about some things. I was able to do those things in Super Mario 3D World.

You - and the other forumites buying this for that fact - should make a Norris-style video for the benefit of Balla. |

Still going to buy it to annoy Balla. |

| According to ONM, - Minor Spoiler:
there's another secret character (MAJOR SPOILER IN LINK). I haven't actually looked at the page, just copied the link with my eyes closed; but I'm impressed at just how much stuff Nintendo are chucking at this game!
It had better be Birdo.

It's not "another". It's the same one from that CVG article. |

| I liked this from EDGE: (No spoilers in the section I've quoted) - Quote :
In the same month that its platform holder rivals debut their new hardware, Nintendo has issued a timely reminder that it is games that sell systems, while also setting a new visual benchmark for the most treasured series in gaming. This is Mario like you’ve never seen him before, and unlike so many of his next-gen rivals, he nips along at an effortless 60fps. If the true measure of new hardware’s worth is how stark the difference is between it and what came before, then this is the most next-gen game that 2013 has yet produced.
Game has a Metacritic of 93. |
