I now have four 3DS consoles. - how is your collection looking?

I hardly ever use my old 3DS to StreetPass my new one. I'd much rather take it into town with me and get a handful of genuine ones.

I can understand having a USA or Jap 3DS to go with your PAL system but not 4 like dusty. Why have so many, I only have 1 and really only need one I am tempted to import a 2DS but if it did get a Japanese Release I can't really see me using it for the games that aren't coming over here due to language barrier (all my jap dreamcast games are king of the fighters which you don't need to no the language), so that would leave me with a USA import but we seem to be getting games before the yanks now e.g. Bravely Default. But saying that if I did see a cheap 2DS or really cool special edition i could be tempted to buy and keep along with my XL especially for pokemon could play Y on my XL and X on a 2DS.

The black standard console is my day one machine, couldn't bare to part with it. The blue XL is now my day-to-day unit. I only bought the Pikachu and New Leaf ones because they were special editions, I'd consider it to be the same as buying a special edition of a particular game.

Yeah but I won't be buying 3 version off watch dog's and there £35-100 at the most not £180.

He's went collection crazy, why else do you think he likes animal crossing so much?

I think I'll stick with 2 3DS's,

Not good as mine has some dead pixels, so is going to be repaired.

Still waiting for the next edition of 3DS, then I'll own my third 3DS. Surely a hardware revision (that is superior and worth an upgrade) has to happen given how thin on the ground 3DS software is this year?

Zelda 25th anniversary went after finishing kid icarus as there was no game
Blue system I bought to trade in towards a VITA at the VITAs launch
White XL which I bought on whim and was sold only because of a limited edition
Zelda ALBW XL which I still own
Ambassador New 3DS which I am now selling as I've just preordered
Zelda MM3D New 3DS XL

I have the original launch one which I'll be selling to my brother, the N3ds ambassador & I ordered the MH4U bundle earlier today.

I have my original blue 3DS and my Pikachu 3DS XL. I need no others.

I've really scaled my frivolities back this generation, especially in the consoles department.

I now have my original Jap 3ds, a Jap new 3ds and an Australian new 3ds

I still don't why you got the New 3DS so early down under as in Japan they launched with MH4U and that's happening in the West but in Aus you had nothing.

That's not true!! We had.. Umm We had Pokemon release with it.. Yeah.

I've always held off upgrading my launch aqua blue 3DS until I found a necessary upgrade and whilst I've considered a lot of the special edition XL consoles (the Luigi version really had me tempted) but I've finally gone ahead and gotten the Ambassador edition of the New 3DS. So yeah, not really a collection, even more so I've given the aqua blue 3DS to my brother.

Mine will be 7 when the Majora's Mask one arrives, already ordered. I have 2 Original (Black PAL and Purple NTSC), 4 XL (3 PAL and 1 NTSC) and 2 N3DS XL (Majora's Mask ordered). I can never bare to part with old stuff, plus it is a family thing, 5 of us, no sharing.

Agreed. It is truly frustrating that GBA games are not available for the 3DS. It is great playing them on the Wii U Gamepad, but there should be a unified account where I can play them on both.

Agreed.  It is truly frustrating that GBA games are not available for the 3DS.  It is great playing them on the Wii U Gamepad, but there should be a unified account where I can play them on both.  

Just not being able to play them anywhere I want is a complete travesty. I'll stick to putting GBA cartridges into my DS Lite, thanks. :S
