| Well we also have stupid stuff like all the slot machines being butchered in the Pokémon games. |

| Thanks International Streetpass week! Today was the first day I didn't get any streetpasses on my journey to work through Wakefield and Leeds Train stations...... |

Crikey, really? I've been through both Wakefield and Leeds myself today and got loads of the things. More exposure to the new games, and I'm really enjoying the pair of them. I've caught the legendary monster from the Prelude Isles twice now. Liking the fact that there's a very loose and simple, progressive plot to the zombie game, too. |

| I had somewhere between seven and nine each time. Got a load when I returned to Leeds from Ilkley, too. Maybe I nicked all yours? |

| Yeah, I was out and about past Edinburgh Waverley train station and through Falkirk station too, got a ton of hits. Odd that, Andy. |

| I'm not going to buy either game until Nintendo sorts out the reliability of StreetPass, like Andyman I've been having issues too, though they date further back :/
I've also noticed that the first game in the StreetPass list never communicates for me, which used to be Shovel Knight, and is now Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.
Regarding the Plaza, even on busy trips around a city I haven't had more than 5 StreetPasses despite trekking around lots of people and all those relay points. It's maddening! |

| Are the new games any good? I'm holding off on buying them until I've heard some opinions about them. |

| I'm enjoying the new games. Zombies might be described as a bit long-winded, but they're both interesting concepts. I see me getting a lot of mileage out of the fishing one, though the legendary fish encounters are definitely a bit of a slog after the thrill of catching one has passed. |

| Zombies sounds great, I could do with a good action game. Apparently it's developed by Good-Feel? I only recently discovered (after finishing Kirby's Epic Yarn) that Good-Feel has a lot of ex-Konami staff in, particularly those who worked on Goemon/Mystical Ninja. It's great to see them working on something entirely fresh. I think I'm more excited about StreetPass Zombies than Yoshi's Woolly World... |

| It is! It's less pretty than Fishing (fishing is very pretty indeed, the shading on everything is gorgeous), but the zombie designs are great and the descriptions for the legions of offensive items you can lay your hands on have genuinely made me smile with their tongue-in-cheekness. |

| I want both games so badly now! Just wish I had more play coins to at least justify playing it while StreetPass is borked for me -- I spent 80 on Shin Megami Tensei IV last week. Oops. I'm glad that Fishing looks good, big difference between that and how Rodea the Sky Soldier looks |

| Ah yes, the actual StreetPass. Other characters are really integral to these, as you're constantly saving other players in Zombies and often have other fishermen rallying round you to reel a huge catch in in Fishing. Great sense of community, more interactive than the other games. I hope SP gets fixed your end, Fronk! (Also: Rodea looks pants? ) |

| Whew! Glad to hear that fishing doesn't work like Garden! I remember reading some worries about that, probably because of the idea behind "collecting fish".
As for Rodea, indeed. The 3DS game was a real disappointment when I tried the Japanese demo.
I've just posted on the thread over at the Wii U/Wii section, do let me know what you make of it -- I think the original Wii game looks amazing though. |

Other characters are vital for catching the legendary monster on each island, and you can even combine and upgrade your rods in a similar fashion to the system in Mansion. The former might be a bit of a sticking point for people prone to getting fewer StreetPass hits even in this day and age. |

| I get 2 Streetpasses twice a day because of all my consoles, which is lucky, as if I had to rely on meeting people in the real world, I would get nowhere.. I hate to think how bad all this might be if you don't get hits. I am enjoying both so far. Fishing looks like it may take a while to hit its straps, but in a good way, as it looks to build nicely. The Zombie one is pretty good fun, and not all that easy at times. I am pleased with my purchase and extra pleased with the Vault, as I have retired Puzzle, Quest, Mansion and Squad. I am glad not to see them any longer.
On progress in Garden, I have a mere 8 flowers to complete every one of them, anybody got them all? |

Hope you enjoy them, Jay! I'm just on my way out, so hopefully I'll have more excuses to play them by the time I get home. @oldschool: I keep getting bored of Garden, but I've just started up again and I'm now at 30/80 breeds. |

| Zero mellows - Fishing reveals itself to be fun (with enough hits), although Zombies irritated me in the extreme with only its second level. It's one that I'll be wanting to rush through. |

| I don't have much trouble getting streetpass hits, usually get my 6 minimum on the right journey.
Not got the games yet but looking forward to them, won't be touching Premium with a barge pole though, it's a 50p kind on download I'd say. |

| Fishing's great fun - quite relaxing and easy enough to grasp. Zombies is alright - it's a bit basic in regards to its actual gameplay, but the sheer silliness of the items makes up for that. Worth picking them both up, for sure.
What exactly is Premium? You don't seem to be getting much for your money there, unless I'm totally missing a pivotal feature. |
