| So not to risk inundating the TV thread with Breaking Bad chat, let's discuss Breaking Bad. Naturally, spoilery things within.
Let's get predicting then guys. After Jesse's revelation at the end of last episode, how do you think Walt will react? Obviously he stops Jesse from burning down the house, but how? I have no idea where it's going.
I'd like to throw something out there though - Hank is going to off himself. Walt's "confession" video has Hank well and truly in a checkmate position. I think the stress and failure of his investigation is going to send Hank over the edge. |

| I don't think Walt will stop Jesse from burning the house down, remember the flash forward in ep 9? The house was in a state & I seem to remember the walls being a tad black.
Anyhow this article sums up the last ep & breaking bad as whole really well:

| Great article, makes some great observations regarding the cinematography.
As for the house, was it charred or just a state due to abandonment? I thought the latter myself. If it does burn down though, I wonder if Walt Jr. is in the home and is about to meet a toasty demise? |

| *BB fan here* That's Breaking Bad, you dolt, not Big Brother *slaps* Anyway, yes. The other half got me in to this about two months ago, and being up to speed with it all, I can simply say, "wow." I'm currently rooting for Jesse (he's had a rough ride, bless him), and hoping Marie dies in a purple coloured incinerator bin (she's annoying) There's so much that's left me slack jawed so far it's untrue. The latest obviously being Walt's confession. This last ep seemed to just be a slow "let's start a few things off to build up to the climax" kind of affair, but I still enjoyed it. You find yourself scouring every element of each frame for anything that might later turn up to surprise you, and the best thing about this show is that it always hits you with what you've noticed but discarded as insignificant. Looking forward to the last few episodes. Oh yush. |

| If Jesse dies I'll have lost all faith in humanity - he's the character who deserves to get through this the most I reckon. |

| brilliant! @mandle it was definitely an ep that's building up to something but as you know the revelations in this show are always worth it. ~~~~ I hope I won't be but I can't escape this little nagging feeling in the back of my mind that I'll be disappointed by the finale, I've forgotten where I heard this but all this stems from someone saying that the finale of season 4 would've been a great way to finish it with Walt uttering "It's over. We're safe. I won." & I have to agree with that. Anyhow, I look forward to being proven wrong. |

| Yeah, I felt that would have been a good finishing point for the series too, but they can't end it with Walt's empire crumbling around him. This shouldn't have a "happy" ending, not after everything they've been through. I'd say have faith - every episode this series has been stellar so far, and I see no reason for the finale to be any different. |

| I can't see Gomez getting out of that alive. My money's on Todd kicking the bucket too. Hank's a likely candidate.
My grand prediction now is that the reason Walt comes back is to save Jesse who's been kidnapped and forced to cook for the Neo-Nazis. |

| That was the single most intense hour of television I've seen, ever. Fucking brilliant. Absolutely fucking brilliant. |

| I'm still shocked. The scenes with his family... and the fact he was being a monster over the phone to Skyler in order to save her from going to prison, further incriminating himself... jesus. |

| I can't wait to see how it ends now, that was a brilliant episode. Unfortunately I'm going to have to sit through my first lecture of the year knowing it's waiting for me at home. Bad times! |

| Absolute perfection. That was a better ending than I could have hoped for, and that half-smile Walt and Jesse shared at the very end said more than a thousand words could have. Brilliant brilliant stuff. |

| Aye it was pretty good stuff, can't complain about how it ended and felt it was all tied up nicely, a great end to a great show. |

And I haven't seen a single episode. erm...why are you in a breaking bad thread then? ------ Aye it really was great, as always I found myself appreciating the cinematography more than I do in any other TV show specifically that final shot as he collapses is simply spectacular. I still can't believe that's it done though. |

And I haven't seen a single episode. Then why post about it? Seconding the cinematography comment Jas - nearly every shot was brilliantly constructed. |

Just venting. I think I've seen more people talk about Breaking Bad on Facebook/Twitter/etc then stuff like X-Factor, which is surprising; and people keep bringing it up randomly in unrelated conversations and forum topics. Oddly, nobody seemed to talked about it until recently, so I was very surprised when I found out it was on season 5. |

| I found out about it last year when I got Netflix and binged through the series. I think it's unfair to say you're sick of it though having never seen an episode - there's a reason for the praise. |

| That's one thing that still surprises me that not one major UK TV channel picked it up initially or even stuck with it (my brother put me onto it a few years ago) FOX UK had season one & then nothing after that.
Thankfully Netflix stepped in otherwise I may have missed out. |
