| Bah! I didn't vote for either of those, I saved my votes for much better games in each genre. |

| I will accept that differences of opinion may be had about the Mario Kart series, but a better Mario Tennis game!? It's up against Power Shots, unbalanced Miis, or eye-bleeding. |

| With the Mario Tennis games, I did find that people voted for one or the other. Whether Power Tennis was more popular than Tennis 64...I guess you'll find out in the next few days.
(Without revealing too much, Mario Tennis Open was one of the many Mario games not to get a mention whatsoever. "Nul points").

I much preferred Power Tennis, had a much better time with it than any other Mazza sports game. |

| That's for Open, not Power Tennis. The 3DS game. Nobody likes that one. Like I said, I enjoyed MPT, but it made Power Shots mandatory for the tournaments, required you to play on the stupid gimmick courts to unlock things, and nixed Donkey Kong Jr. |

| Happy with Mario Tennis - of course! - and though I didn't vote for Double Dash!!, it's probably my second favourite Mario Kart. Good to see we're kicking off (ha) with sporty Mario titles, too. May there be many more of them higher up the top ten, too! |

| For the record, I enjoyed Mario Tennis Open, though it's the only MT game (apart from the GBC version) I've played enough to give an opinion on. My younger brother hogged the N64 version something chronic when we were kids. I'm just reeling over all the Double Dash!! love we have on this forum. Not my cup of tea at all. |

Andyman - Mario Tennis 64 is outstanding. Well worth a Virtual Console download! Yeah, sorry about that. I did try and sit down to write you a list last night but I couldn't get the site working on my phone and I wasn't about to pay 15 quid for Butlins WiFi. I might as well have done though; I ended up spending more than that on a clear machine trying to win a Princess Peach plush. I didn't even get her before I ran out of cash... |

| I'm just disappointed that you didn't send me a drunken message like you promised on Twitter. You're one of this forum's best drunken posters, Buskalilly; I don't think I could take the heartache of you letting the side down again. |

I'm sorry mate. I did try. I managed to get on the page and it let me write in the post title but not the message body. I tried to write you a whole message in the title... |

- The original Paper Mario was brilliant wasn't it? To this day the only N64 game I've played which I have particularly fond memories of. The story was great, the combat excellent fun and the world was brilliant. It was so filled with unforgettable characters and it had me gripped from start to finish. One of the best RPGs I've ever played.

- Or Mario & Luigi without LSD incorporated into the development budget. One of the most charming RPGs I've ever had the pleasure to play, this game took you on a whimsical tour of the Mushroom Kingdom, serving you an eccentric, eclectic cast of friends and foes. The lighthearted plot and paper-based graphical style felt like a bedtime story come to life. Magical.
I SAY -Superb. The forum got it right with this one: genuinely endearing, totally novel for the time and bloody massive. Happily, it was on my list too.

| Mario Tennis Open is definitely great fun but it missed out on a vote from me because it was one step forward, two steps back. Can't argue with the 3 shown so far, even though I didn't vote for one of them. |

| I can't believe I forgot about MK double dash, I really should look into getting the original paper Mario & Mario tennis 64 as well. |

That's exactly my position on the matter. Also, I quite liked Mario Tennis Open too but there was not enough of it. |

By all means pick up Paper Mario, but if you've already played TTYD (AS YOU SHOULD HAVE) and you're anything like me, you'll find it a poor second place. So yep, don't agree with this placing, but so it goes. And I hope that both ZJ and JM are referring to the right "other paper Mario", because there's a right one and then two wrong ones. |
