Valve registers trademark for Half Life 3!

It's happening!

Basically, what this means as considering Valve must show proof of using the trademark within what I believe is a 12 month timeframe, it's almost confirmed we'll see Half Life 3 very soon. I'd bank on it being released around the same time as the Steam Box.

I just hope it can live up to the hype!

If it's steam box exclusive they will sell tons of steam boxes.

I could see it very easily being a PC exclusive. Valve's never really pushed their games on consoles anyway, save maybe the Left 4 Dead games. Console TF2 was woefully undersupported.

Steam could be a major player if valve starts counting to see with Half Life 3, L4D3, TF3, Portal 3 them alone would make me buy a steam box.
