I just found a snail! It was on a yellow hibiscus bush I planted in my town. Middle of the night, in a thunderstorm.

Blast. I did read about them liking hibiscus, but I just haven't been bothered to play the island minigames to get the medals. Looks like I'll have to give it a shot. And the spiders just seem like a matter of perseverance. Ho hum.

Anyway, on topic, I haven't played this game in ages and don't feel any real urge to return to it. It's just much too repetitive and, dare I say, slow. Oh well, It's nice to see so many of you guys are enjoying it

Yep I'm in the same boat its not that its bad, just that I've had my fun with it for now & I've other games I'd like to play more.

I've been two fossils away from completing the museum for a few weeks.

I too am at the stage that other people have mentioned, the point where you've seen the majority that the game has to offer, I'm not bored of it by any stretch, but there's not a lot else of new things to do sadly.

I haven't played this for a week, now. I can't motivate myself to put up with the repetition at the moment.

Just a few more fossils needed and my museum will be complete. I think I'm at the stage where I could use some help. If anyone's got these fossils to spare/sell/swap, I'd appreciate it:

Triceratops Skull
Trilobite
Archaeopteryx

I've had the Trilobite and Archaeopteryx quite a few times and sold them. Triceratops Skull seems to be quite tough to get hold of, in my experience anyway.

If anyone can help me out with the last fossil I need, Plesiosaur Tail, I'd appreciate it.

I'll keep an eye on that tail - it's already in my museum, but sadly I don't have any spare (in my collection of fifteen spare skulls/torsos/tails or so).

I'd have a huge collection of doubles if I had the space to store them. Will let you know if I come across anything you need.

Caught my first August animal this morning - the humble rice grasshopper!

Also, I have a rotten fruit that's producing plenty of ants but no flies... how do I get flies?!
