Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Now my house is paid off and I am rewarded with a gold roof and door.
I'm really pleased with how my main space room turned out. A couple of other rooms still need work though.

It feels like I've done nothing but play this game since June, yet I seem so far behind everyone... Yet I don't mind. That's the beauty of Animal Crossing. I love it.

My halloween haul from tonight. Took me ages to get everything. This is why I've spent so many hours in the game

That's mightily impressive. I got three or four items then got sick of playing rock, paper scissors.

I bought 16 bits of candy... and then didn't play on Halloween. Can you be bad at Animal Crossing? Apparently so.

Same. I got home quite late that night, too, and I was falling asleep in front of my 3DS. I did manage to get several of the pumpkin heads and the Creepy Clock, Stone, Coffin, Skeleton and Grave, though.

Everyone started collecting the Harvest range? That was a nice surprise.

I've been fairly lackadaisical on the catalogue so far. It'd been my main focus in Wild World, so maybe I automatically tuned in on other things this time around. I've finished the fossil collection and am pretty far with bugs & fish collections, plus my house is slowly becomnig fairly impressive. But very little in the way of furniture collecting. I suppose it'll happen. I'm going to do EVERYTHING THERE IS TO DO in this game, and I will probably die moments afterwards.

It's the badges I'm obsessing over. The badges that fat walrus scoutmaster guy gives to you. I want them all.

Phineas creeps the living shite out of me. That calm demeanour and scoutmaster uniform is just... just... worryingly unsavoury.

Do the mushrooms do anything? Can't remember if there was any point in them other than to sell them, I even found a rare mushroom buried underground.

He is the splitting image of my old scoutmaster. I did a double take first time I saw him. In fact, if only he had a double door beard, I would've thought Richard had changed his name.

Some mushrooms are, in fact, furniture. I don't think there's any more.

So, I have finally completed all the shops in my town.

The multi-floor T&T Emporium is extremely impressive, and Katrina's Fortune-Telling shop got me the Tingle Hat which I needed.

I should go back and visit my town at some stage and see who's there and who left me

I expect Lolberg to be a desolate wasteland when I return to it. If I ever do - I've been thinking hard about trading it in.

I downloaded mine so it will always be on my SD card taunting me, unless I move it to the back where I won't see it

Keep picking mushrooms! Occasionally you'll come across mushroom furniture that isn't re-orderable from the game's catalogue. The Forest Wall looks pretty neat to boot, too.

Popped home from uni for a few days, come back to discover that I've left my 3DS behind... Not sure how I'll cope without Animal Crossing.

I'm just about to pay my third full-size room off in my house. I've been procrastinating for weeks.

Got the gold mailbox too!

You can feed them to Dr Shrunk instead of fruit, if you feel the need.

I've been doing that with the rubbbish mushrooms and find it amazing how he still seems excited to eat them.  

I'm hooked on the mush furniture at the moment. Also: several of the mushrooms (famous, fancy and rare) are worth a mint!

Shrunk will eat candy, too.

I've got some Mushroom furniture to spare if you'd like it? Chair, Table, Bed, a couple of others...

I'm missing the bed and the table, I think. Can I offer you anything in exchange?

I've been hoping for a famous one but haven't had any luck yet, I certainly wouldn't sell it if I did though, reckon I'd just eat it at an opportune time.

My village has been pretty generous with the valuable mushrooms. I've been trying to save one of each to display with the mush furniture, though.
